Chromcast out of date

Bought this TV to Stream Disney+ on Chromecast. Found out when I went to stream Disney, it didn't work. Had to find out through social media the installed Chromecast is out of date. Also Vizio has not released plans for an update. App to connect phone was also difficult. Had to hard boot TV and router. Otherwise I like the TV.

Hello Frowe14, You can view Disney+ on some VIZIO SmartCast TVs by 'Casting' the content from the Disney+ app on a compatible device. You can also use the AirPlay feature of your VIZIO TV with an iOS device running iOS12.3 or later or a Mac device running 10.14.5 or later.

Great tv great value!

Bought this tv around a month ago and so far so great! It's super easy to set up, casting to the tv is great. My only complaint is that the interface is a little busy. No way to add apps that I can tell (just subscribed to discovery plus and don't see a way to add that on yet?). and if you want to find an app you have to like filter through the tons of already installed apps. BUT that's fine because I can cast whatever I want to the tv. Great picture and sound. Love the remote layout.

Beautfiul Picture

This is the best thing I have every purchased!!! it has a beautiful picture , and the sound is awesome and I don't surround sound just the speakers on the tv, the next best deal was the price point it was a fair price I did not realize it was 4k until I plug it in (I know right) so the only thing left to say is "THANK YOU"

Awesome!

I've had this tv for about 2 weeks now and I loooooove it! Great picture and sound. But the built in chrome cast and air play is by far the best feature. This tv also comes with so many channels I'm seriously considering getting rid of my cable provider. 2 friends of mine were also looking to purchase TVs, after seeing how amazing mine is they have both ordered vizio TVs!

Settings

We are an older couple. We like our Visio tv but have a couple of suggestions. 1) Add a way to enlarge the font on the settings and input choice bar. Our tv is about 12 feet from us yet we both have a difficult time seeing the info. 2) Offer a Visio factory remote with enlarged buttons. Again it is difficult to use the one that comes with the tv because of its size. Over the counter replacements do not provide all the features that come on the factory remote.

Beautiful picture and wonderful features!

This is my 4th Visio TV. This 50 inch TV is in our bedroom and we love the picture & sound quality. My wife and I love the easy access to Youtube, Vudu, Netflix and Hulu features to name a few. We haven't use the voice command feature yet but we will very soon. Thank you for providing wonderful products. It looks like we will be Visio fans for life.

Nothing but problems

I bought this almost two years ago and I've never had as many issues with other tvs as I do with this one. The apps are constantly closing and going to the home screens and has happened quite frequently and sometimes it doesn't turn on. The light to indicate it's on just fades out and it won't turn on. This has happened a few times now.

Great buy and great picture.

Bought this a year ago and planted it in my living room (opposite end of house from wi-fi router). Put in a wi-fi extender to make sure signal went through walls and doorways okay. Have not had any issues with streaming and use all the time. Even DVD player produces good pictures. And VHS tapes do okay. And using it as a monitor (i.e. ZOOM meetings or from an old laptop with HDMI) is fantastic. Software updates keep us current. Tech Support has been great too when an update did not fully install last week.

Great picture and sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a 58" video TV and love it. The picture is crisp and the sound is fantastic. As a big sports fan, I have NHL on my TV most days during the season, and the picture is so clear. Switching to game mode for my Xbox is seamless and also keeps the picture clear. I don't use game sound, so I can't comment on that

Nice look—-a few concerns

I've had this Arab for 12 days....it worked like a gem and definetly is easy on the eyes BUT now it won't load or play any of the applications. It STAYS connected to the WiFi and yet...nothing works. Half the time it won't even load to the Home Screen. Sucks. I thought this was a nice brand but I'm slowly losing hope.
