Great TV!!!

Actually won this TV as a Door Prize at my company Christmas Party . . . couldn't be happier with it! What a clear picture! And the audio is very nice too (I don't have it hooked up to any speakers or anything!). I would definitely have payed a lot of money for this TV if I hadn't gotten it for free! Well done Vizio!

THis model Vizio better than the last model !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best TV model and it has Chromecast a lot of free cable programs and more channels get add often and and my 2nd Vizio tv. The casting from smart phone not the greatest. When you can cast it it work fine.

Too many glitches

Initially I had trouble setting this up but after doing a factory reset was able to get it working. I've had several instances where the tv won't turn on at all. I have to manually hold down the power button for several seconds before it will turn on. I also keep getting kicked out of shows, not sure why. Sometimes it will go back to home but usually the unit turns off. The volume doesn't stay consist between the channel apps.

Vizio

I was told Samsung was better so I bought the 50 inch Samsung and the sound kept going out. I returned the Samsung and they said that was very unusual. So I exchanged it for another Samsung has it installed again on the wall and the sound went out again. Took it back and got the Vizio do much happier and it was less money to buy the Vizio

I am having a little problem with it already I just bought it 3 months ago and the sound keeps going low when the show is on but when there's advertisements are on it gets real low and I have it turn all the way down. Also I went online to print a manual but it;s only in Spanish. How can I get the English version of the Manual?

When there are changes in volume between commercials and TV shows or movies, there is an audio setting in the menus to help balance them out. Open the TV's menu and go to the Audio section. There you will want to turn on the Volume Leveling setting. When accessing the User Manual through support.VIZIO.com, there are English and Spanish versions. Fantastic picture

I know someone with a Vizio, and the first thing that struck me was the clarity of the picture. Amazing, so glad I purchased one. The Dolby 50" has it's drawbacks, one is the audio. I don't have it running thru a sound system, just the TV audio, which does not have the depth and quality of sound I expected, but overall wonderful product.

Great picture

Love this tv. Comes with all of the apps I wanted preinstalled, remote has buttons for 6 of the most popular apps. The only thing I would say could be improved is the sound quality. Not bad, but not great either. Still a great tv, especially for the price.

Horrible TV and cheaply made

I purchased this TV as I already have a Vizio that is roughly about 10 years old and figured I would like a new model. First of all the TV is cheaply made and the remote is so thin it would be very easy to break if not careful with it. After setting up the TV I could not get it to cast as it claimed it could do. Also switching between inputs was not easy as it would lock up on the previous input selected. After three hours of fighting with it, I decided to box it up and return it for a full refund.

Nice picture

I've had this about a week. The picture is wonderful. Very great picture compared to what I was used to. My only problem is the sound. Sound could be much better but it is a lower model and not a real expensive tv so I guess for what I payed, this tv is ok.

Very User Friendly

If you're planning on cutting the cord (Using a streaming service like YouTube TV, Slingbox, Hulu live etc.) This TV is perfect. The smart TV interface is very user-friendly and you can jump from all your streaming services. Also, casting from your phone to your screen is very easy to do. There airplay feature is very nice if you want to play something off of your phone. On my old Vizio, the speakers were not that great especially with movies, there was a big discrepancy but between the background music and the voice audio. This TV however, is perfectly balanced and although were using a sound bar the built-in speakers are surprisingly really good. For the price the picture is very high-quality.
