Loving It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love, love, love my Vizio TV. Its so easy to use. When there's something that I don't understand Vizio has built in instructions at you fingertips. The website is user friendly also. The even have a chat selection if needed. I've l love using the Smartcast feature. I truly love their products and would highly recommend them.

Great TV

I bought this television November 2019. I waited until March to finally take it out the box and mount it on my living room. Great picture, sound, quality, you name it I love it. Every television I've bought has been a Vizio. I would highly recommend!

Horrible for the Elderly

ALL TV manufacturers have forgotten about the ELDERLY. Screens should be made simpler. It should be where the HOME screen shows ONLY icons for what the person wants (i.e.: TV stations & Netflix). There should be a way to LOCK either the remote or the tv so an elderly person can't arbitrarily get into areas they shouldn't. Remotes need to have bigger buttons and LIGHTS (I had to purchase a "universal remote" with these features.) Printing on screen needs to be easily viewed from a living room chair or bed (the "INPUT" options necessary to go from Netflix to TV Stations is TINY & barely seen amongst the busy HOME screen. Please think of the elderly, disabled, and anyone who struggles with ALL of this technology!!!! The RCA Roku (which I returned) allowed the HOME screen to be less busy, but per RCA, Roku, & Jasco, NO Roku TV will acknowledge # keys to go directly to a specific TV station. At 98 yrs old, she shouldn't have to push an arrow 50 times to get to a station! SHAME ON MANUFACTURERS!!!!

Great !!

I had a very expensive 4K UHD tv and my son threw a toy into it and it broke the screen and made lines up and down it. So I bought this one to replace whT was broken and it's an excellent tv for the money !! I would recommend buying one . I've had it for a couple weeks and I'm still learning all it can do . It comparison to the other one it's great !!

Has issues

Had this 58 inch Smart Vizio TV for 2 1/2 months. First turn it on the volume takes about 5 minutes to balance up to normal. Otherwise you have to turn the volume very high to hear it. It has buffering issues from time to time were the picture will lag or freeze for a few seconds. Requires unplugging the TV then plugging it back in or doing a reboot. I never had these problems with other TV brands. I own a LG and a TCL. Both the same level of quality as the Vizio. Disappointed in this level of Vizio, maybe their high end TV's preform better

Great TV but the remote does not always work

This TV has been great so far. The remote will sometimes not work when using the plug in (HDMI plug in) like for the fire stick. I have to go back to the home screen and then go back to the HDMI part and it will sometimes work again. I am not sure if it is just a glitch or something major. I hope its a glitch....

Nice TV

Unfortunately, I have had this TV for less than a month and all has been doing for the last days is spin and it says "checking for updates". I went into the system and ran the updates option and it says that the tv is updated. Why in the heck is it still spinning on the main screen. We can't watch TV. The only thing I can do is access the manual.

perhaps it was defective? Returned after 1 week.

I bought and after 1 week, returned. The colors muted, not very clear and none of the apps would work. When I tried to run an app, after two or more minutes, it would show that the app couldn't run. Would arbitrarily turn on or off. Would arbitrarily switch to Roku or NVidia shield instead of the input I was on. Went with another brand.

Very disappointed

My friend has bought Vizio TVs and had no problem. But she has the smaller ones. We should have known because we first got a 65" and the screen was broken, we returned the same day. The second one 65" had half the screen black and read the 65" had a problem with that. So we got a 60" and the sound doesnt match all the times, I have to turn it off and back on again. After every commerical it is off again. So disappointed and the sound isn't very good.

I cant watch any of the apps i love to watch

well I didnt do my research before buying because i had assumed EVERY tv was set up like a TCL where u can literally download ANY APP. the VIZIO I just bought has a limited selection of apps that you are able to download and access. My luck most of the apps i am used to watching and having access to is not available on this tv. what kind of wack crap is this!?!?

Hello kaylam2012, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device.
