Kinda of a good TV

I bought this tv to game on and for the smart tv feature of casting my phone to the tv to watch movies. Well it does not appear to support the windows extend option completely. I can drag my mouse between laptop and tv screen but I can not get the game to launch on the tv screen and have Discord on my laptop. They are both are on the same device either laptop or tv screen. I replaced my sony tv with this one and everything worked just fine. Game on tv and discord on laptop. The vizio seems to have something wrong. When I got it the volume controls on the remote did not work. I talked to customer service and they told me to do a hard reset and sure enough the vol on the remote worked. They indicated it was a know problem but did not seem to be public knowledge. I suspect there is a s/w error but not enough folks have complained for them to fix it. So I gave the TV to my son and bought me a samsung smart tv which allows me to cast my phone to the tv and support my game on the tv and while discord in on my laptop. Bottom line if you want to game or use this tv to miracast your phone get a samsung. If all you want is a smart tv then this tv may scratch your itch. Not mine though.

Wonderful Television

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My household has been needing another Smart TV for quite a while Amazing lightweight television that can be mounted to your wall if you choose. I absolutely love the Vizio V-series 55' tv it well exceeded my expectations,! Ultra HD color spectrum is honest to goodness perfect! Equipped with automatic updates & features. Works with Google assist. & you can stream & more rright from your phone has hands free tv voice control. So exciting to be able to hook it up & within 5 minutes the apps installed on it start working immediately. it connected to my Wi-Fi services extremely fast and I was able to watch live TV on an app that's already. installed great sound wonderful picture quality very lightweight

Okay but...

Would appreciate a larger remote Why is it that tv companies make a remote that is so small that when I want to press one button my finger presses two! Why cannot a tv company make a simple remote for an older person and children and have a separate remote that has all the controls on a different one! Am I the only person that thinks this way! The tv has already been sold that's the hard part now I gotta find a universal remote that may be compatible with that one I just purchased and pay this guy money for another remote! How much does a plastic remote really cost to make and include with the purchase! Grrrrrr!

Great 40" TV

I love this Tv in that it is thin and nice looking! I have really had to fix the color/brightness/sharpness to my liking. I like all the apps below so I can stream! My 18 year old daughter taught me a lot about streaming on this tv! Wish picture in picture was available -only con!

The Best Tv

I bought this's TV a couple months ago and I'm so happy about my purchase. We usually stick to Samsung, but I'm glad we branched out. I've recommended this TV to all of my family and friends. It has great features and apps that comes automatic with it. The TV even has free channels of its own that me and my family loves. My husband is from Puerto Rico so he also gets to see Spanish channels that are on there, I love reality TV, and my children loves Nick Jr and Disney channels.

Color is bad

We bought the floor model and we new some led light were out but when I finally figured out how to get it in 4k the picture was beautiful but then the 2nd day we turned it on the color was messed up. The blacks were green and people almost looked like cartoon characters. We tried to fix but it hasn't worked yet. Also funny thing is it's not real bad till you go inside a movie or show.

Awesome TV

We got this tv as a family Christmas gift at a great price on Black Friday it has some awesome features that works great for the whole family! We are enjoying the great picture and how beautiful the tv works mounted to the wall!! The ratings on this TV should be 5 stars all around!!

Beautiful Picture

I have had this product for less than a month and it is hooked up to a soundbar. Picture and sound is incredible. I live in a nursing home and they originally may the connection to our service provider via coaxial cable and I was unhappy with the quality of the picture. I complained to the maintenance staff here and they made an HDMI connection to COX, our service provider. What a difference. LOVE IT.

Excellent picture quality and great sound.

I wanted a new tv as the sound on my 10 year old set had become muddy or my 10 year older ears couldn't make out the voices too well anymore. Decided I would pass on a soundbar for now and see what the new Vizio was capable of. I have been pleasantly surprised. One complaint, a small one, is that the screen can take some time to navigate when switching inputs. Otherwise very happy.

Vizio 40" TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a Vizio 40" TV a year ago and it gives superb service. Primarily using internet for TV and it works great. Really like that the remote control has buttons to select the different streaming services we access. Picture quality is good, no spooling and always good reception. Even if we switch to an indoor antenna when internet goes out, the picture quality is great and we have good access to Los Angeles area television. We have owned seven Vizio TVs and won't consider any other brand.
