Great TV for the price

My previous TV was real old, so I needed to find something new. After looking around and reading reviews, I had this delivered (COVID). For the price, this TV is above grade. I stopped watching my cable, and just used the apps on the TV. The only critique I have of this, is when watching the apps, the volume needs to be turned up quite a bit, but I will be buying a soundbar next. If you're looking for something cheap, I would definitely recommend this one.

Cautiously Optimistic

I have had bad luck with Vizio TVs in the past, so I was hesitant to purchase another. This TV was not my first choice, but that one arrive completely smashed so I bought this instead. It is replacing a 40-inch Sony that we just moved into the sunroom. I have been pretty pleased with the ease of setup and the performance and utility of the SmartCast features. There is tons of free content. I am a little disappointed with the choice of native apps and that there is no app store to add the apps of your choice to the TV. This means you have to "cast" from your phone any content you want to see for which there is no app. That is the only reason for taking off a star. Other than that, this TV is excellent for the price in terms of picture quality, menu and configuration options, picture/color adjustments and so on. It connected to my internet on the first try, and I was using my Google smart speaker to voice control it just a few minutes later. I am really happy with it, and my expectations were high coming from Sony whose TVs I love.

OK for the price

This is our family room TV connected via HDMI to a computer which controls most of the programming; we also use SMARTCAST for some streaming from our phones. We have two issues with this TV: The picture quality is good when looking straight on but degrades rapidly as you move to the side - this is a real disappointment most other TVs do much better in this area. The second issue is that if we allow the computer to turn off the display after the system is idle (to reduce power consumption), the TV will never detect the HDMI input the next time you try and watch it. The only way that this system works is if the computer power settings are set to "Turn off Display - NEVER". You can turn the TV power off and on - that works fine, but allowing the computer to power down the computer end of the display is fatal (I don't have this problem with my other SONY TV)

great value

You can't beat this VIZIO for the money...it's relatively easy to use, and simple to setup. It replaces a 3-year old Samsung smart tv that was complicated and burdensome to use. This is my 5th VIZIO and they're always easy to utilize. The picture is good, not great, and the sound is adequate. But the price we paid for it is outstanding and this tv represents great value.

Great value with sharp picture

I bought it a month ago and am happy to have it, fitting perfactly to my family room, meeting my requirements. The built-in apps act as they should. It will be better for me if the remote controller is desined a bit larger so that it is easy to be handled.

Awesome Television

The tv was easy to set up, and came with access to many channels. This proved necessary as I needed a tech to set up my cable, and the channels provided entertainment until the tech the day the tech arrived. The size is suitable (43"), easy to set up, and easy enough to connect with cable. I highly recommend Vizio.

Excellent visual clarity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The crystal clear screen view make wAtching TV or movies easy on the eyes . Also the added picture controls make adjust picture an easy task . Vizio updates are simple to fly thru. Watching TV is once again a joyous experience

Good tv

I like the tv you can't add apps to the Tv tho and for some reason if I leave it on all day and night it will keep playing the show I'm watching but it switches to the Home Screen while doing this on its own not sure why but other than those two things it's a nice tv

Beautiful television

I have owned this tv for 4 days now and I really love the picture on it and all the features that go along with the tv. I have a vizio tv in our living room and we bought this one for our bedroom and we made the right choice. Thank you for making an excellent TV.

Great Purchase

I bought this on 12/1/2020 I was able to get the 58” for the same price because the 50” was sold out. It was easy to set up & the picture is great but my biggest challenge was streaming as I never had it before but now I've gotten used to it. I would definitely purchase another Vizio.
