Beyond my expectations!

This is the second Vizio T.V. I've purchased and I am absolutely happy with it. The Vizio smart TV which is connected to my HD cable box, is amazing. Watching movies, playing video games, streaming tv series from Vudu is so clear and clean. Thanks to the picture options on the menu button of the Vizio TV remote. The difference in clarity is beyond my expectations! I would not choose any other brand of TVs again!

Lack luster TV with input control issues.

I bought this TV last September 2020. I got it setup and connected the HDMI cable to the STB and ethernet cable to the TV. Navigating the various inputs seems cumbersome. Pressing the Input button displays a horizontal menu you have to scroll through to find the desired input. There is Smartcast, Airplay, Watchfree, CableBox and any other devices you might have connected like the Switch. You have to be quick to choose because once you stop scrolling it will change in about a second. Picture quality is pretty good, but a the moment I don't have any 4K sources available so I cannot comment on that. Sound quality from the internal speakers is poor. You should consider purchasing a sound bar for decent audio. There appears to be a problem with the optical connection to the sound bar. The audio does not sync well with the video. There is an adjustment in the TV settings to compensate for that but it did not work as well as I hoped. The most noticeable issue with the TV is the faulty input logic on the control board. Frequently, the TV refuses to turn on by either the TV controls or remote. It simply does not respond to the controls and the only way to reset it is to unplug the power cable. I have to do this at least a dozen times a week and it is tiresome. I wish I could unload this TV but it is unlikely I would recoup half of what I paid for it.

VISIO IS GREAT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Vizio for 2 years and so far no problems. It's got great color. The sound is pretty much where you set it.....so I like me that as I have trouble with one of my ears. I like the easy on feature. The apps work good too. All in all it's been a great find for me thanks to my son's recommendation!!

Stunning color

I recently bought my Vizio and as soon as the set up was complete I was amazed. From the stunning color, ease of setting it up and a wide array of apps. My only complaint is the inability to add apps but it's not really a complaint because if the awesome mirror feature makes up for it.

Needs to have access to more streaming networks

We have only had it for a week and we had trouble getting access to the networks we needed for all the shows we watch.We also lost our connection and had to reset it once and it took us forever to find out what and how to fix it (we still had internet connection on the computer and phones). I guess it just takes time to learn since this is our first smart tv.

Do NOT buy a VIZIO TV

I brought my VIZIO tv and realized that the volume was not working on the tv. I returned the tv for another one (same make & model). The tv worked for a week then would not turn on anymore. Apparently this is an issue that VIZIO is aware of because they have trouble-shooting directions should this occur. I couldn't get the tv to work so I returned the 2nd tv and got a tv from a different manufacturer which is working wonderfully. I will never buy another VIZIO product, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

EXCELLENT QUALITY

Purchased this to replace a 55" LED I had purchased years ago. Was afraid the 5" decrease would be too easy to see but instead, the quality of the 4K HDR makes up tremendously for it. Such crisp detail and the slim outline gives the screen an even bigger feel. SmartCast is great and there is SO many titles to go through so will never have nothing to watch. Only downfall of any of it would be the remote doesn't have a backlight so at night it's hard to see what buttons you are pushing (overtime will memorize where buttons on but still). Would recommend 10/10 and purchase again and again.

Incredible tech at an unbeatable price

This television purchase was a spur-of-the-moment purchase. Incredibly impressed with the product, and based on that, will seriously consider Vizio products when making future purchases. The integration into our entertainment system and multiple connections was seamless.

Great picture for a good price.

We chose to receive TV over the air. We are 30 miles from a large city and still get about 50 stations. Use internet for Netflix, YouTube, etc. using the built-in apps. Works great except for when exiting some of those apps sometimes the screen goes black and I have to turn it off and on a few times to get it going again.

Horrible

From the first day I had my TV, I've had issues with the volume not wanting to turn up nor down. The tv would go out while watching apps. It won't come on unless I unplug it n plug it back in. The WiFi kicks out all the time n have to re-enter it. The apps won't work and I often have to rest the whole tv to make it work again. The only reason I didn't take it back is because I lost my receipt..
