Ugh!

I bought this a month ago and I liked it until the volume went out in it. So whenever I would go to mute the tv or turn the volume down, it would just not work all together. The 1st time it didn't last long maybe 15 minutes but the 2nd time I was in the middle of a movie and it stopped working.

Love Smartcast

We bought this to replace a Samsung TV that started having problems. I am so glad that we went with Vizio. The picture is great, and the remote is a definite upgrade from older Vizio remotes (we have an older model in another room). Smartcast makes this a true SMART TV. This is more than just apps.....don't get me wrong - it has most of the apps that are popular. However, it also offers movies and other features of products like Roku and Fire TV.

Not user friendly

I have had nothing but problems with the smartcast feature on this tv. It wouldnt be a big deal if I could download streaming services that are not preloaded to the tv. I have had a service technician out and also had the tv replaced. We have a galaxy s10 and a note9 that are unable to cast to this tv. I can cast to my tcl just fine with both phones. I will honestly never purchase another vizio tv again.

TV for Dummies, not even remotely!

I purchased this to replace a working television because I wanted a smart one. Might have bitten off more than expected. When calling customer service to finish linking and registration I felt that I made the correct decision. The representative actively listened to me trying to explain what was happening and she talked me through the entire process without making me feel like the biggest idiot in the world. It is really fool proof as I easily get frustrated. It's a great purchase and quality is outstanding.

Lack luster TV with input control issues.

I bought this TV last September 2020. I got it setup and connected the HDMI cable to the STB and ethernet cable to the TV. Navigating the various inputs seems cumbersome. Pressing the Input button displays a horizontal menu you have to scroll through to find the desired input. There is Smartcast, Airplay, Watchfree, CableBox and any other devices you might have connected like the Switch. You have to be quick to choose because once you stop scrolling it will change in about a second. Picture quality is pretty good, but a the moment I don't have any 4K sources available so I cannot comment on that. Sound quality from the internal speakers is poor. You should consider purchasing a sound bar for decent audio. There appears to be a problem with the optical connection to the sound bar. The audio does not sync well with the video. There is an adjustment in the TV settings to compensate for that but it did not work as well as I hoped. The most noticeable issue with the TV is the faulty input logic on the control board. Frequently, the TV refuses to turn on by either the TV controls or remote. It simply does not respond to the controls and the only way to reset it is to unplug the power cable. I have to do this at least a dozen times a week and it is tiresome. I wish I could unload this TV but it is unlikely I would recoup half of what I paid for it.

Really good but not Great!

Overall we really love our Vizio vs our other TV's.... Every PRO comes with a CON. The smart TV features are really good And we've essentially replaced our Apple TV...CON: Sometimes movies and shows just stop playing And if you binge watching you lose your place. In store picture quality & home viewing picture quality are 2 different things. So in the store mode this TV shows these amazing crystal clear slo-mo videos of water droplets spewing through the air. CON When watching a 4k video at home it doesn't look anything like the store mode visuals and I cant replicate what Ive seen in the store. All in all it is a nice TV at a good price... If you have a 1080 smart TV with similar features OR a 1080 TV with a NEW Apple TV theres really no beed to buy this TV unless you're upgrading Or if its your first TV.

Just bought it and looks good and picture is vivid

I am amazed with the picture quality and looks great too. The resolution is so much better than my other TVs and colors just pop out. I watched the Thanksgiving MACY Parade and was blown away with the beautiful colors. If you have the space in your home than this is a must buy tv. Cannot wait to see the Super Bowl on it.

Great for bedroom

I bought this television about a month ago. Everything is great other than the fact it has been blocking the tv screen telling me to “scan to unlock perks and register your product” on every channel which is pretty annoying. Hopefully once i submit this, that problem goes away! Other than that, I've never had a problem with any Visio products I've owned!

Very poor product and even worse support

Purchased in early February, the TV gave us problems from the beginning. It has to be re-booted at least once a day to make the features work. Arbitrarily stops allowing us to access our apps, screen goes blank, switches itself back to Smartcast (there's a joke) while we are watching on TiVo or Firestick. Support ran us through several options including setting the TV back to its original factory re-sets to no avail. Support takes 45 minutes to an hour to go through the processes every time requiring us to "go through the motions of checking our W-Fi, re-booting, try this, try that. We are waiting on a local repair person to come and verify the problems. It's a software issue. VIZIO will not replace or refund without independent verification. No service would be better than the current service. I suspect we will not get either a refund or a replacement.

Great TV for the Whole Family!

We've had this TV for about 2 weeks and it has been mostly great! It's easy for the kiddos to navigate (youngest is 4) and I love the Home screen where the apps and featured programming are located. The only issue we're having is that the Home screen sometimes won't load, leaving a blank screen. After talking with the helpful tech support, I've found that this is a common error that their programmers are working on. Hopefully the next available update fixes this. Otherwise, it's an awesome and affordable Smart TV!
