Mine didn't work so well

The mirror casting doesn't work. I didn't buy it for this feature but I was happy that it had it. Then I was disappointed because it doesn't work. The cord is on the short side. Our house is older and it's not our priority to do electrical things at this point. We just got it today so I haven't experienced it all.

DONT DO IT

If there was a rating for a zero this TV would be getting it. Literally the only thing that works 90% of the time is Netflix. No other apps work on this tv and continue to have to load. Sometimes the show stops and just randomly goes to the main screen when no one is even touching the remote. Don't try and change the volume because your tv will freeze on you

Amazing Smart TV's

I have purchased 4 Vizio smart TV's over the past 2-3 years and each one has been better than the last. The features, apps and customer service are hands down the best. Chromecast alone is wonderful but along with Smartcast these TV's are the bomb !

Beautiful picture and lots of extras

We have purchased Vizio tv previously and this one is still the Vizio quality plus more!! My husband was hoping for a larger tv and this Vizio 75" is perfect. It has colors so vivid it is amazing and even sitting across a large room you can still read the information during his ball games. love the smart cast and the three HDMI ports which make connecting a roku, or firestick as well as a blue ray player so easy. It even has the connection for a coaxial cable for a standard tv and the inputs for an old style VCR is you still use one. .The remote is easy to use and I love the voice control that lets you ask for certain movies or tv shows. All in all it is an awesome tv

Great Picture, nice size.

I love the size and the picture it has. The apps make it easier to watch TV and filter our shows i don't normally watch. I gave it 4 stars because some the features are not clear on how to activate or deactivate. Other than that its a great purchase. I'm glad I made it.

Good Value

Easy setup. Great picture and sound. I am happy with my purchase. My suggestion for improvement involves the QR scan. I scanned the QR code for documents. I discovered I had to get a file mgmt ap to get the documents. Never was successful. That needs to be corrected.

I purchased this TV because I know how well the vizio brand stands test of time. However, im disappointed that there aren't more popular brands for options as apps. Where is discovery+, starz, or HBO max? Disappointing that a company such as yourself that you can't get deals to have these apps as options on your device.

Hello ChyWilliams7586, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. Best Investment This Year

I've never owned a Smart TV and must admit that I had to do my homework to find out "what makes them Smart" before I made my purchase. I searched many well known electronic buying guides and the 50" VIZIO V-Series V505-G9 was consistently ranked in the Top 5 TV's as a reliable with a good quality picture. After noticing this it didn't take long to convince me to purchase. Setting up and registering my TV was easy but I was laughed at how startled I was when the TV quickly [and automatically] picked up my WiFi and asked me for the passcode. I remember thinking for a split second, "my last TV didn't ask me this", but then again, my last TV purchase was not a VIZIO Smart TV. Once the setup was complete I was WOWED. The clarity of the picture was PHENOMENAL!!! It gave me the experience and feeling like I was looking at a mini movie theatre screen - and this is only a 50"!! And the applications? Overwhelming, but in a good way. I'm still navigating through each application and learning how to utilize them all. I had no idea there were so many TV viewing options out there. Thank you VIZIO for bringing out the Stone Age of "Big Back Box" TV watching and into the future of TV viewing ENTERTAINMENT!!

Good image, weak sound, USB functionality lacking

Have been using this for 3 weeks. The worst thing about the TV from my perspective is the fact that playing a movie from USB stick, it is not possibler to resume watching the film where you left off. You must forward through half of the film to get to where you are. Basic function that is missing. Can't connect HDD through USB. Can't shuffle music or pictures through USB. All else is reasonably functional. Not a fan of the OS, it is slow and confusing. Sound is weak so it will need a soundbar. Low refresh rate. Decent otherwise and for the price acceptable in case you were not planning to run anything off USB.

pure technology and at a good price.

I saw this brand for the first time in the house of a boss of my wife and I loved it I have an LG 4K smart and the Vizio they had was not as new as mine but it had an incredible image quality and menu so I loved it .and finally I was able to buy one.
