Great picture

I bought this a few weeks ago I do enjoy watching the TV the only thing that I'm a little disappointed that I can download other apps onto the TV for example the WWE Network but I'm sure the company is working on giving us more options when it comes to downloading any app

Great picture, lack of apps and functionality.

You can stream Hulu but not Hulu live, we also can't upload our cable TV app. App source are very limited. We ended up buying a Roku box to have access to all the stuff Vizio doesn't give you access, too. We are looking at another brand to put in the living that has all the apps so we don't have to work off of 2 remotes. This will go to the game room for the Xbox since it is so limited.

Great value

For the money this is a great value. Very nice picture and sound and extremely easy setup. I am a streaming only home and it connects to WiFi with ease. Very happy with the SmartCast feature with built in apps for YouTube TV, Netflix, Hulu and every other major streaming service.

Difficult to troubleshoot

Seems this television has issues with the initial set up. I have read thousands of reviews all saying this same issue. Yet when you search for the resolution you get general reboot information from the vizio and sight and that's it. I had to use a techgeek sight to finally resolve the setup issue. Mostly the issue is with the remote not programming from setup.

Features are lacking

Unable to get local stations without using my Spectrum remote. I thought I may have set something up incorrectly and called Vizio for assistance and was told that the tv did not have that capability and that it would require two remotes. I also find that the timer function is not quick and easy to get to like the last tv ‘TCL' that I had. This tv is being used in a bedroom, so both of these concerns are even bigger inconvenience's. Since it required a different style mounting bracket that had already been installed and two people other then myself to hang it, during COVID I opted not to return it, otherwise I would have. Vizio needs to be more descriptive with tv capabilities, especially when two remotes will be required.

Best Vizio Yet!

Bought this tv when our previous 7 year old Vizio died. Looked up several different brands, pricing, reviews, features, etc extensively and glad I made this choice! I love all of the built in apps that come and the FREE TV is awesome! My next tv will be another Vizio for the living room

All around good.

I bought this to replace another brand smart TV. the other brand after about 2 months would not play hulu and would randomly increase the volume to maximum by itself. It started to have problems staying connected to the internet. I have always had good luck with Vizio products and so far it seems like this was the decision I should have made from the start. That's what I get for listening to my wife.

Great picture and fast and easy to set up.

We bought this TV for football season. Size is awesome to watch football. Great picture. It was very easy to set up. Comes with apps. You can just push a button on the remote and you can watch Netflix or prime .( If you have accounts with these apps.) I'm about to connect it with Alexa now. So excited.

Best tv ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a smart tv to keep up with the latest things and this tv exceeded my expectations! It is AMAZING! It has so many features and free channels...I LOVE THIS TV! I had a Samsung tv and it died out rather quickly, they do not make good tvs, but this Vizio blows Samsung out of the water!!

Vizio 50" V505 G9

So far so good! I like it more than previous model. I had a vizio, D- Series but the picture is much better. It has 3 hdmi ports, I dont particularly need more than 2 but...it also has a USB, audio adapter and an ethernet! It has many more apps and updated features than my previous model as well! I am still figuring it out.... I would have given 5 stars but I'm still learning how to use it! It has 6 direct app buttons on the top of the remote, (I would like other App options,) and I haven't figured out how to add or remove the apps on the main app menu! It should be easy, However, I'm not tech savvy when it comes to remotes!!! Overall it is a great TV that I hope to have for as many years before tech is upgraded and I cant possibly live with this hideous dinosaur tv! I am very happy with this purchase, I didnt spend a small fortune as I had for the previous model I did have and it is much nicer out the box!!! Would recommend!
