Far from impressed

I had a Vizio 32" from over 10 years ago and it was a great TV. I got this 55" newer model recently and could not be less impressed. The internet connection is AWFUL at all times on both WiFi and even hard wired (which it is most certainly the TV, not my internet connection). I haven't had this item more than 6 months and I moved it the other day all of one foot and one of the two screws holding the leg in place snapped in half and fell out. VERY disappointed in this purchase.

The SmartCast System is very Intuitive.

The Vizio V series is a great entry level line. I only with that I could download additional apps. Disney+ and other apps that are not preloaded must be casted via smart phone or accessed via a separate streaming device. Ideally, all streaming would run through the TV.

Long term review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this TV for around 5-6 years now. It's honestly a good purchase for the price. My only complaint is that sometimes it'll start lagging and I have to unplug it for about a minute for it to completely reset. This happens at random times so I'm not sure what causes it. But it's nothing I can't live with.

Excellent TV

Bought this to replace a bedroom TV. I usually go with a Samsung TV but this had a unique size of 40'' and was less expensive than Samsung. Wasn't sure about it at first but once I got it home I realized its the perfect size for a bedroom TV. Has a great picture, sound not that great so if you're looking for stereo sound like me, connect it to a sound bar. Easy setup and easy to use remote, and best of all it was priced right!

Excellent

I have had this set for about a month now and it has exceeded my expectations. The main feature I love is that it has Google Assistant. My entire home from door locks to lights is linked to GA. Since my children's last television blew out due to overuse (running all night), this feature allows me to cut the power sooner rather than later. Overall, money well spent.

Great product

Great product. We purchased this product because we are getting older so we needed a bigger view of the TV. I couldn't believe when my wife said let's get a 65 inch TV. We absolutely love our new TV, the sound is awesome, the picture is Awesome. I would recommend purchase to anyone.

Worth the investment.

I have owned this TV for several weeks. The picture quality is very acceptable. The basic functionality is straight forward. The issue I have is the sound is inferior. I was forced to purchase a, sound bar to improve the sound quality. That did turn out to be a good investment although that was not factored in my budget, I live on a fixed income. I would certainly consider this purchase if one is seeking a new TV. I have read several reviews that are somewhat concerning, reference to the quality of this TV and the longevity of the TV, also noted many complaints that Vizio is not standing behind their product, I have not experienced that myself.

Great TV for the price.

Have had it a few weeks now. It's a good TV. Apps n all....can't get spectrum TV or discovery+ can't download TV channels apps. So that's very disappointing...have to buy a roku. Which is more $ to spend. Colors aren't as vivid as I'd like them to be.

Hello Briana, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. Easy set up

New Visio V series is so light, and quite easy to set up. Engineers constructed the tv to be reassembled (set up) only one way. This great for people like me who end up putting together any ole way. Tuning and operation including network took a little longer than expected, but with more technology comes more integrated operation. My wife uses in her bedroom, and appears seamless to operate. Nice job...…..Good price too.

Exceptional Picture and 'SMART' features

I originally wanted to purchase the 'M' series but a 65" was not available in stock so settled for the 65" 'V' Series and am very glad I did. I'm very impressed with the picture quality and the additional SMART features such as AirPlay. A great choice was made.
