My husband has to have a firm bed and I have to have kind of soft for my hips. Because I have an injured back and both of my hips are injured also . This is perfect . We received it before it was supposed to be here so that was very good. Would buy over and over at this point have been sleeping on it for one week. If it changes I will update this review.

I purchased this mattress a month ago. I did a lot of research before I bought it as my previous mattress was ten years old. The hybrids are rated very high and I understand why. This is a very comfortable, firm mattress, I am very satisfied with my purchase. The reviews in Consumer Reports were accurate.

I suffered from very severe lower back pain for many, many years. After doing tons of research I decided on the Serta iComfort hybrid applause II firm mattress. Delivery was much sooner then the time frame given when I ordered it. The delivery was quick and the guys did a great job. I was very happy with the quality and looks of the mattress set. I put my new mattress pad on it to protect it, and my new sheets and comforter. After sleeping on this mattress for the first night I woke up the next morning with no back pain for the first time in forever. Ever since I've been sleeping on this mattress I have no more back pain. I can't believe that all those years I just needed a good mattress. It's great not being in pain every day. I highly recommend this mattress to everyone.

We bought two of these mattresses to replace our king sized mattress that was worn out and too large to manage anymore. The $99.00 Sam' Club gift card with each mattress made the price less than any other distributor was able to offer. The free haul away of the old mattress and delivery of the new made this a real bargin. We are waiting for our gift cards so we can do our Christmas shopping at Sam's Club.

Thought it wold be too firm w\hen I first laid on it but it sleeps great.. My wife juts got out of rehab for back surgery. I it might be too firm for her but she loves it. We both sleep better than we have in a long time sleeping on an old Temurpedic that was every hot. The Apppause II is just great.

I received this mattress set about 1 week ago and I am in LOVE with it. It took only 1 night to get use to it. The 2nd night I sleeped all the way thru the night. There have been times that I did get hot, moved to another spot and the original area cooled down very quickly. This is the best purchase I have made in a very long time. Before you buy do test this mattress at another mattress location. I love the plush bed and didnt want anything too hard and this is exacly like I wanted. If you like it plush you will not be dissapointed.

We bought this set a month ago and had to wait for shipment of the king size, but was worth the wait. Good looking set, we were looking for a firm mattress. However, my husband thinks it might be a little soft, was fine with me. Delivery people came when they said the would and did a good job of set-up and removal. It took us two years to decide on a set and I believe we got the best and at a good price. Thank you

I brought this last month and very happy I did. I was very pleased with the delivery service, they scheduled the day and time with me and were very prompt. Set the bed up in our bedroom which was a nice service for older people.

We tried this bed in the show room and it had some give. The bed that was delivered feels like you are sleeping on a table top. It is being exchanged for a plush. The bed was delivered right on time. It is nice quality. It is just way to FIRM for us.

The original delivery date was cancelled the day of delivery due to Kid Glove "misplacing" the box springs. When they were finally delivered a month later, the dust covering on the bottom of both of the box springs was separated from the wooden frame. The handles on the mattress were also torn. We love the Mattress itself, this is the second one we purchased. The first was from a furniture retailer and I don't think I will buy something like this online again. Not worth the discount.
