Hose does not fit water properly so it leaks terribly

It’s a gift for Christmas but it looks great.

the water gun seems like decent quality, BUT first hook up and use of the hose, it leaks where the collar and the hose meet.

i wouldn't

So far I like it.  It very light and sooo much easier than the old style to carry from the front to the backyard.  Yes, I could get a second hose, but my SS doesn't allow me that luxury.  
I do need to contact support folks,  the hose does not curl back up when I turn it off, but there might  be something I am doing wrong. In the mean time it is very light and easy to transport to the other yard.
Overall I like it a lot.
