[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When shopping for tape, the most important aspect is its adhesive strength. Along with its versatility, Duck Max Strength Duct Tape’s hold is EXTREMELY strong—so strong that it takes some power to pull apart and detach the tape for use. So far, I’ve used this tape in multiple situations—for sealing shipping boxes, taping down extension cords, and fastening my broken mop handle. This tape is so tough that I don’t have to worry about it wearing off or anything coming apart. When mopping, I applied a lot of pressure, while using it in wet conditions, but the mop’s taped handle didn’t budge at all. I like DUCK Brand because their products are much more reasonably priced than their popular competitor, but the quality is maintained/upheld!

It sucks. It doesn't stick to anything. A bit of water will render the tape entirely useless. I've tried it on all types of surfaces and it didn't stick on anything. Never buy this brand of tape. If I could rate it zero stars I would. I don't ever rate any products that I buy, but this tape is so useless that I believe it deserves this horrible review. Stay safe and clear from this horrible scam.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can I say, this is strong tape! It tears easily enough, just a little force to get it started, and it sticks where you put it! I haven’t had it come loose at all yet, it just stays put no matter what I do. Great to have on hand!

I compared it with a leading high-strength competitor and found it lacking. If fact, the Duck brand seems no stronger that your run-of-the-mill duct tape. The size of the tape is big too, so it can stick to pretty big objects and if you need a smaller piece, you can just cut it without reducing the strength of the tape. This should last you a good while as the amount of the tape is long. I've used this to patch up items around the house and it is a life saver!

You never know when you are going to need it and there is nothing better. I used it during a recent freeze in Texas, I fixed my doggie door and that was all within the first week.

They are big time chewers so I thought the tape would only be there temporary but to my surprise, the tape wasn't chewed through. It sticks to so many surfaces as well without loosening over time. This is a must have for any handyman (or any household!).

The generics are just not as good. I trust the Duck brand to stick the first time and remain super sticky, even in extreme hot or cold temps!

I've come to depend on one tape and that is DUCK MAX STRENGTH DUCT TAPE ! I have used this tape to hold up some things that you'd never think it would hold but by golly it did !
