It's almost as if these reviews are for two different products. Not sure how some ppl got what seemed to be pure cooked tails or tiny tails. Mine came uncooked about 5 oz each and cooked up very well. Ppl complaining of mushy tails might be over cooking them. I've done them broiled, in fried rice & made lobster Bisque....each time I cooked them .....perfection.

I purchase these with the intention of having a small treat when we have steak. I don't know if they had been thawed and then refrozen but all 20 lobster tails were one solid frozen block. We chipped and broke them apart and cooked four of them leaving us totally unimpressed with the quality. I have purchased and cook lobster tails for over 40 years and certainly will not be purchasing these again.

The description sites "the best North Atlantic" (which implies COLD water) but the box has a check off area on the back that clearly lists almost all WARM water areas (e.g. Bahamas). Warm water lobster has a similar flavor to local NJ lobster, neither of which are any where near the clean crisp taste of Cold Water lobster. I am try to see if I can over grill or add enough other ingredients to cover up that odd warm water after taste but will have to see how it goes. Tried in a spicy red sauce and also plain with melted butter but that did not work to cover. Perhaps in a cold lobster roll with a lot of extra tarragon might help but I am not very hopeful given the strong warm water flavoring.

There were 22 tails in just one box, each 3-4 ozs each. Excellent product and delivery

These are the worst lobster tails I have ever gotten. They are mushy and VERY POOR quality. I'm very surprised that Sam's is even selling these things. They should pull them from the shelves and turn them into cat food.

They do come frozen together, but I let them set out for a few minutes and was able to separate them and put 4 to a bag still frozen and put back in freezer, they were really good.

Theses lobster tails are bad, Very mushy and fell out of shell... I do not recommend them ... I will be returning the remainder of the box to Sam's Club for a refund.

i got this box about 5 times already - it's great for summer lunch or week end treat! i boil them to thaw, cut open the shell w/ a slit by scissors across the bottom then break in half! until they let the maine fishermen fish again - this is the best we can do! yes, the wind mills replaced lobstering in maine:(
