Picture

I bought this tv a couple of months ago and I am having issues with lines in the picture. On the left side the picture gets thin little white lines. When I turn the tv off for a while it returns to normal. Just afraid I am losing the picture for good. I mean the tv is practically brand new!!!

I'm a convert

Bought this tv a few weeks ago. We were a samsung family, however this TV is awesome. Great clarity and sound. I love that I don't have to toggle the source to go from my roku to blu ray. We were in the market for a soundbar, but its totally unnecessary with this tv.

Don't waste your money

I bought this tv less than 6 months ago and so some reason you can't get back to the main menu or cast videos from the internet. I am lucky if I am able to watch tv maybe 25% of the time. Maybe I just got a lemon :( I unfortunately would still not recommend this tv even if it worked perfectly fine. It's a 50" tv and no one can read the writing on the tv because it is so blurry. I pity older individuals who are end up with this tv because the user interface is the most complicated I've ever seen on such a basic model tv. My father is 65 and refuses to watch tv at my house because he gets so irate trying to navigate my tv. Save your money and do not DO NOT buy this tv. Everything about this tv from sound to picture to usability is absolutely HORRIBLE!

Not what I expected.

I bought this tv 6 months ago. Picture quality is fair, but not spectacular. User interface software is poor, and the Smart softwear is very basic. Remote control is small and very limited. I purchased an external tv box to make up for the deficiency, and plan to buy a better remote control.

Great TV When it Works Properly

I bought this TV about 7 months ago. I like the size and the picture quality is great. What I don't like is that the TV and remote do not always communicate properly, sometimes it takes multiple tries to get the cursor to move or the TV to respond to a button. Overall it's a good TV. I would just prefer that it be more responsive.

Robust feature set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this TV for over a year now. Although it has many features I enjoy, it doesn't always behave well. Sometimes it doesn't respond to the remote control at all and needs to be unplugged. Other times it does respond to the remote, but lags behind by a couple seconds. Other times I will use the remote to turn it off, and it comes back on by itself.

So far so go

I've had it for less than a month, but so far so good. The features are nice, but for some reason I can't find the sleep feature, where the TV automatically turns off after a set amount of time. This is pretty basic on most TV's so, it could very well be a user over site, as I have not had a chance to really sit down an go over the features in detail. If I find it, I'll repost with a 5 star rating

Works great!

I bought this a few weeks ago and so far so good! I love all the apps that are available to use! The only issue I have had is when turning it back on after it times out... the screen doesnt always load, so I have to shut it off and turn it back on. That always works though!

Great picture

Love this television. The picture quality is great, and setup was super easy. It is very user friendly and super easy to stream, and go to different inputs. It's the perfect size for a family too. You can see it well from any part of the room. I love the vibrant color and great quality. I have two other visions I've had for 12 years that still work great. I highly recommend.

Excellent features

Just bought my visio about 3 weeks ago and the picture quality is amazing, put it this way my boyfriend bought a new samsung and he said my tv picture quality is much clearer then his. By the way I'm buying a second tv one for my bedroom l highly recommend visio to all. Also sound is really loud. No surround sound needed.. thanks vizio.
