Too busy enjoying all the features of the TV!

I've owned previous Vizio products, and my expectations continue to fall short of the product's features. In other words, I continue to be impressed by the Vizio line. I paired it with a Vizio 5.2.2 surround sound system. Feels like I'm in a theater with everything I watch/do (I also use video game console(s).

Beautiful Picture, Awesome Color

The TV is excellent, glad we purchased it, however, had a complicated time setting the TV up. Turning it on took a lot of time, not having an indicator that the TV was on, pushed the button many times then it came on. I would suggest that more information be supplied regarding set up, turn-on and options showing how to connect to a satellite system, which selection should be chosen for cable, antenna, and satellite. More of a user manual should be supplied.

Great features!

This was a replacement TV to my previous Vizio. I've loved Vizio products for quite some time now. I needed to upgrade to get all the newer technology, especially 4K. Let me tell you if was worth it. I got all the newer technology features with a great price too. I highly recommend Vizio to all my friends and family.

Easiest set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Vizio a year ago and I couldn't have made a better choice, I live in rural rural rural area where there's no internet or satellite and I have to use my iPhones hot spot for tvs and tablets etc. I have 4 tvs (other brands) that I have to keep setting up from factory bc of hot spot and it takes a day or 2. My Vizio I had it set up as programmed in 15 min. Thank you Vizio, I love it.

Another great Vizio!

This is my 3rd Vizio tv. The first I bought in 2008 and still works great. I have it in the second bedroom. The second one is a 26 inch model that I put in the kitchen. This last one is a 40 inch model that I have in the main bedroom. They're just great TVs.

Programming problems

So far the picture is great. But the smart cast system has several problems. When you first load the tv on it gets stuck in the process of constantly updating and restarting. I have also had many times where it gets stuck on watch free or other input settings and won't go back to smartcast. Overall frustrating to have so many problems with a brand new “smart tv”..

Wonderful

Really enjoying the quality (especially at this price). Screen settings are extensive, which I will need when I use it as a monitor. Of course there are basic settings as well, like movie... Issue: Can not add apps. In my case HboMax, so I have to screencast from IPad.

The worst television I own

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We get a lot of square inches per dollar spent. However, size does not matter here because it is the most annoying television to own. The software constantly crashes, so much so that I have to hard-reset the TV regularly. The black detail makes the picture worse than a 1990's pre-LED tv. Somehow there's styrofoam inside the screen. The sound is atrocious, as the tv rattles with low or loud sounds. This was so annoying that I had to buy external speakers. The app control constantly crashes or has buttons redirect you in an infinite loop, e.g., once you enter Watch Free, you will not be able to go to any other app until you perform a hard reset. I bought two of these TVs and only one shows pictures, the other only turns on for a maximum of eight seconds, so its just sat against the wall for about a year. You might think that the TV is such a good deal that you're willing to take the gamble. For your sanity, please do not. I cannot convince my wife that we need to replace it, so I'm stuck with a tv that has the lowest quality for any sports game and is the worst with video games.

Great tv

I bought this a few weeks ago so far has been really good the remote for it not so much would recommend buying different remote. Have had times where remote will quit working then start back working changed battery multiple times defect in remote but other then that been great tv so far

Great features

Clear picture is the obvious starter. Menu layout very clear and the main streaming apps have shortcut buttons on the remote (more than Samsung). Not to mention how quick I can mirror my phone IPhone to the tv. Also has 1 more hdmi input that Samsung and lg. Very happy with my choice
