This TV replaces a 60” tv that did not have Chromecast, Airplay, HDR, or Disney+. This solved a lot of my problems. I had a dongle for Chromecast on the old TV that had to be rebooted occasionally. I had to use Chromecast from my phone to show Disney+ for the grandkids and couldn't leave the room with my phone. I had some 4K movies that always recommend HDR when I would play them. All problems addressed with this purchase. It comes with a lot of free channels over the Internet. I also plugged in an HD indoor antenna to get a bunch of local channels. The TV plugged into my old VISIO sound bar just fine. Like most big screen TVs, you'll get an improvement in sound with an external speaker system. The price for this was great. You'll have to pay a much higher price to get a higher refresh or better picture on such a quality TV.

I discovered VIZIO televisions a decade(ish) ago when I had to replace a t.v. that walked out the door with my last major mistake. I went to a big box store and compared everything there, and settled on a VIZIO. I've purchased several more since, and I have yet to disappointed. The color is great. The sound is adequate I guess - I always pair my televisions with sound bars so I really can't speak to that. Set up was easy.

Would like a different layout of remote. I am older and the moving from one feature to another doesn't fit with my mental processes... Previous Samsung was easier(it had less features) Process for finding/loading local antenna stations is extremely slow based 10 plus minutes. Much much slower than previous tv Currently looking at how to set time after a power outage. Have set zone set auto, auto daylight savings, auto whatever made since. Then went to manual 12 hour based system.

I bought it two weeks ago, so far I have completely enjoyed this tv. I love the software so far, many free channels which I personally use often but still good to have them. I haven't had any issues, it runs smoothly and my Xbox One X and PS4 look amazing on this Tv. I'm really happy with this TV and even more with the price.

I love Vizio Tvs and I wanted one larger than the 55" I had previously and I noticed that the screens are larger than it seems. The quality of the picture is excellent when you use Vivid settings one thing I did have a few times is the Tv would get out of sync but once you reboot it it comes back the only other complaint it the Tv volume could be louder so getting a soundbar maybe helpful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this Vizio smartTV for over three years and am glad I made the purchase. As ne streaming apps have launched, Vizio SmartCast has kept up. I was able to ditch my antenna and Firestick for a simple single interface. Even if I didn't want to pay for streaming, WatchFree+ and multiple other free apps would suffice. They even have apps for my toddler. Overall, I highly recommend Vizio brand smart TVs as the picture quality is exceptional, the apps are constantly updated or added, and the UI is super intuitive and user friendly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last year with my girlfriend. I like the smart tv features, it has all of my favorite streaming apps. The sound on this tv isn't great, with certain services I find myself turning the volume all the way up.

The price was right and the TV worked beautifully when it worked. However the video stopped working three to four times in the first two weeks so I returned it for a full refund. We would turn the TV on and the audio was playing but there was no video. When I returned it to the store, the salesperson mentioned that Vizio uses used recycled parts inside of their TVs which might explain why the price is so good and why it doesn't always work properly.

Wanted to replace a 42" plasma TV that we had downstairs for a long time but did not want to spend a lot of money since we do not use that location a lot when we watch TV. Decided on this 50" VIZIO after reading the reviews from the experts and the consumers and so far it appears that we made a good choice. After playing around with the settings for quite some time I finally got an excellent picture and when I hooked up the sound bar that I already had I was pretty satisfied with my purchase. The only thing negative is that you have to be very patient to set it up initially as it takes over one hour to get everything downloaded. Gone are the days when you bring a new TV home, plug it in and turn it on. It was NOT necessarily difficult but very lengthy. I've only used the TV about five times mostly watching sports and so far there has not been any issues. SO FAR SO GOOD!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good display, there are a few things that need to be touched up with the software, every six months I usually have to do a master reset on it, however, it coming on board with compatibility for Apple and chrome cast makes a great addition so I can use the services I'm already familiar with. I believe that the operating system/GUI could be faster, but for what it's worth, it works and image quality is where I need it.
