Not the sharpest

Demo video is very vibrant but normal use not so much. Black is not deep and overall picture is slightly soft or hazy. We have tried adjusting and re calibrating several times. It is better if you are directly in front but loses sharpness if you move to the side. Disappointed as it does have many good features. Our older Vizio 47" actually seems better.

Hello Texastoast46, Thank you for the feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition or 4K signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD or 4K, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD or 4K picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark.

Great TV with very high quality 4K picture

We have had it for about 6 months now and it is just as awesome as I pictured it. Sound is very clear, picture is true 4K and amazing!! Has every app I need and more, and even has cool screensavers for when it goes to sleep which really show you the 4K display. One of the best TVs for the price range I could find. 15/10 would recommend

Great TV, Better Price

I've had this TV a few weeks now. The picture is better than I expected for the price. Works with Dolby Vision and regular HDR. The Alexa connectivity is nice. I use a Shield TV, so I don't use the built-in apps much, but the menus are responsive and easy to navigate.

Poor Quality TV

I encountered a few issues with this TV. By the time I reached my limited, I was just outside the return date that Best Buy offered. I understand that Vizio has a one year warranty, so I am hoping they honor it in my case. So to get back to the problems I'll list them: 1.) remote at times is delayed. The volume button in particular. My wife will ask me to turn the volume up and after I do, it will literally take 20 seconds for it to register and it'll shoot up. 2.) While watching something the TV will show a colored digital fuzz or noise and go back to the home screen. There is no telling when this will happen, but you can imagine how annoying this is, if it happens in the middle of a show or movie. I also have a picture of this. 3.) The audio output doesn't sync with our audio system. I think the audio output connections are bad. 4.) There is no optical cable. This isn't the TV's fault and probably mine for buying it, but seriously still, why? This was a gift for my mother and father in-law and boy do I feel bad for buying them this TV. I should have paid more of anything else at this point and honestly I'll feel better if I can just get this TV returned for a full refund.

I regret buying this tv

I bought this on black friday 2019. You can't install apps, comes with common apps pre installed. Hulu being one them does not work. You have to switch back and forth between inputs to fix a black screen on start up. You will have to do a soft reset frequently due to freezing and certain functions not working. Screen sharing is fickle and works sometimes. Literally the only good thing about this tv is it has a decent picture. I wish I would have spent more money on something that actually works

Great picture and fairly simple to set up

The picture is great. The simple buttons to access Prime, Netflix, etc. are fantastic. So simple and so quick. We had issues with the picture and the sound not synced. There is a Lip Sync setting (I've never heard of that one). I adjusted all the way up and all the way down but it didn't help. Out of desperation to avoid returning it, I dug in to all of the settings and finally found one that got it on track under the audio section. An owner's manual would have helped. Fortunately I found some info on line and I appreciate the lack of paper for recycling purposes but an owners manual being included is pretty much mandatory. Now that it's all set up, we really like it

Great TV!!!

Actually won this TV as a Door Prize at my company Christmas Party . . . couldn't be happier with it! What a clear picture! And the audio is very nice too (I don't have it hooked up to any speakers or anything!). I would definitely have payed a lot of money for this TV if I hadn't gotten it for free! Well done Vizio!

Very good tv in this price range

The picture and sound quality are great as is the smart TVs interface. The watchfree has a lot of content that we actually like to watch. Only issue is the sound is a little glitchy when switching sources it will get muted and you will have to switch to a different source and then switch back to get the sound to play. Not a big deal only slightly inconvenient. Also was disappointed that they went away from the remote with the QWERTY keyboard on the back. Overall very happy with our purchase!

Let down!!! We're a vizio family!

We bought our 3D TV 8 years ago! Loved every minute of it too! We just bought a 70” and we're so excited to put it in our new home! We're watching a movie ( only had it up for 2 days and the screen just keeps randomly turning blue! Anyone else? I hope this is fixable. We're really bummed.

Excellent TV

This is a fantastic TV. Glare is minimal, the colors are bright, the sound is great, the picture quality is excellent, both from internal app video streaming and from my Xbox, and I am absolutely amazed at how fast it is switching between App (e.g., Hulu to Netflix to Amazon Prime). It is as fast as changing a channel.
