Good Picture poor operating system

Purchased a couple months ago and is easily the worst TV ive purchased in the 4K era. I have two LGs 55" and 75" and three 40" Samsungs that are all much higher quality TVs than this. The picture itself is good quality but the operating system is absolute garbage. You will have to constantly hard reset the TV to make up for the lag. They have a watered down version of screen mirroring that is not compatible with many apps and websites. Spend the extra couple hundred bucks and get a better TV

Decent TV

This is my third Vizio smart TV and within the first week I'm running into the same issues as my others. It'll freeze up on a show and have a Playback Error. If I try to exit and restart the home page won't load any apps and just show a grey screen, even powering down and back up the TV doesn't fix it. I have to manually unplug and plug the TV back in, that's the only solution to it. Both of my other TVs have this issue but I assumed it was because they're 1-2 years old. guess it's just a vizio thing. You also can't add any apps, only what vizio provides. I also ran into issues with mirroring my phone onto the TV multiple time and it freezing up and exiting, even though I was only showing some photos on my phone, not even streaming anything.

Poor construction

I've been through 3 of these (my mother's) The power supply went out in the first. The second one came with a cracked screen. The third works, but the screen has a line running through it, and the bezel keeps coming off - just seems cheaply made, but maybe that's what they have to do to achieve this price point

Amazing picture and features

I bought this TV about a month ago as an upgrade to our family room. I know Vizio's reputation and have been pleased with other Vizio's I've previously purchased. The picture is absolutely amazing and the Smart Apps included have been fantastic. For the money this has been a perfect purchase for us. No complaints whatsoever.

Great features and apps!!!

I bought this product around Christmas time last year, December 2020. I had already done all of my homework and put careful thought and consideration into buying a smart TV for my rambunctious family of 6! I love it! The features are awesome, you can store everything conveniently how you want it, and the apps are up to date with tins of new movie updates almost every week! The only problem that I have noticed is that there is a little bit of lag when switching apps, changing channels,, or adjusting the volume. The remote is a bit flimsy and cheaply made so if you don't want to encounter any problems with that, you can just download a VIZIO remote off of your app store. Other than that, Im super satisfied with my purchase. I am certain that I made the right choice when purchasing this item for my family!!!!

Love the features!

We bought this a month and I'm loving the apps it has you don't even need cable just internet with all the free movies and if you have extras like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Vudu it hooks up great to all these. Only bad thing is that on some older movies the picture looks blurry not a real crisp picture at times. But over all great buy!

Junk

I Bought a Vizio 70" V series a year and a half ago. While watching a movie last night vertica green/yellow l lines appeared on the screen making watching TV impossible. I have two Emerson TVs and a 11 year old Samsung TV that have never given me trouble. Stay clear of Vizio, they only have a one year warranty and are unreliable!!

Needs some improvement.

I bought this a few weeks. I went back and forth between the Vizio and a Samsung. Went with the Vizio because we have had others and have been happy. The sound quality on this tv is poor. There seems to be no way to add apps to this “smart” tv, which has been a feature on my other Vizios. Over the picture is ok and it's not a bad tv, just not as good as our Samsung.

Hello Mark2021, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. 60inch Vizio

Wow I'm very happy about my purchase, after reading a lot of the reviews online I decided to pull the trigger after my LG died on me. I told myself I wasn't buying another LG, so when I looked this Vizio tv up I just liked everything about it, from the picture quality and the sound. All around it was a great buy.

Great Easy-to-Operate TV

Bought this for my young adult child with autism going into a group home.. Needed nice size (40") to wall-mount in bedroom. Easy to operate; she will primarily use cable, and needs to have cable come up and running when turned on, This delivers with cable box. In future, she may grow into streaming.
