The correct way to pronounce VIZIO....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is to the toon 'Old McDonald Had A Farm' V-I-Z-I-O. I like the TV overall, have it Ethernet plugged so responds quick. Sound is sub par. You cannot customize homepage other than app order. Picture is very nice compared to our old TV.

First, No audio aft 4 days. Replcmnt, No Aud

After happy 5 years with an older, smaller Vizio in the living room, I add one to the bedroom. Bought this one, in-store at our local Wal-Mart, on Fri, 30 Nov 2020. Got it mounted on the wall after a couple days and second trip to WM. Worked great for 4 days, then it lost audio Friday evening 27 Nov. Messed with it for a few hours, but no joy. Took it down and back to WM (3rd trip) for exchange. Mounted the replacement, did all of the setup updates, etc. but it never had audio. After 15 mins, the replacement also lost its video/picture. Took the replacement off the wall the same night and back to WM (4th trip) yesterday for full refund. The third attempt, to cover the wall mount bracket that remains, will likely be another brand. WM employees were great and very understanding. They said that they have been getting MANY Vizio returns. So disappointed with Vizio! So disappointed with myself, that didn't I read (before today) more of the single star reviews here to see so many complaints of common audio problems.

Loving this TV so far

The picture on this TV is outstanding! I own other brands, and the features on this model are far better than anything I have ever seen. In addition, I tried using a sound bar with other models, and the synch was off. Not so with the Vizio! I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Great Features—excellent picture and sound qualite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this TV! The 4K definition really projects a colorful and amazing picture. We really enjoy the SMARTCAST features. I'm a “low-tech” person, but the user-friendly ease in navigating and scrolling is so comfortable and fun. It's a great TV, perfect for our bedroom. I would highly recommend it.

It's not bad

I've had this tv for 6 months now. It's doing good. Only complaint is that chrome cast does Not have the same Chanel's as roku;so I ended up buying a roku shortly after. My other complaint is that it has a hard time using the roku when you first turn it on because it says “hdmi port hot” so I'll unplug the roku and plug It back in for it to work.

4K Issue

I've always purchased Vizio TVs and been very happy but not with this one. Please note with this model if you have Directv the 4K setting will not be recognized. Iv'e tried various troubleshooting tips. After doing some research this appears to be an issue that Vizio & Directv are aware that exists. from what the site said Vuzio is expected to put a patch out but that was 6 months ago on the site. If you don't care about the 4K the TV is fine.

DEFECTIVE RIGHT OUT THE GATE

I bought this TV with excitement to hook it up.I got very disappointed once I hooked everything up to find out that the screen stays black and I dont have a menu to use the tv and the tv shuts itself off; and to get it to turn back on was a headache.Nothing I would do could repremend the situation.Unfortunately that was enough to discourage me from getting a replacement one. I know Vizio prides themselves in quality and affordability but just step it up on QC or else you may have many more dissapointed customers.

top of the line

i always bought top of the line TVs and paid top prices. i bought this 55 inch Vizio and paid an average price for the size. i can honestly say i got the best TV i have ever owned for a price that is well below what i expected to pay for this type of quality.

Fantastic smart TV value

I love my Vizio SmartCast TV. It's an excellent value. It supports most popular entertainment apps, Chromecast, and AirPlay. It integrates with Google Assistant, Alexa, and HomeKit. The quality is fantastic and the customer service is top-notch. I would highly recommend Vizio as a brand.

Visio TV

We bought this TV a week or so ago without actually seeing the picture at the store. It came with great reviews according to the sales man. I personally am not all that happy with it. I don't like the input button. When pressed it shows up as a bar across the screen and you have to be really fast or it disappears. Also, you'll have a great picture on one channel but another channel will be washed out and not vibrant at all, or it will be too dark. Wish we had gotten the Samsung like we were going to.
