Display is nice, but SmartCast will not work.

The whole reason we bought this TV was to use SmartCast versus needing to use Roku. When I set it up, SmartCast will not work. The support site says there is a known issue, and they are working on it. I would not recommend this TV if you need SmartCast, at least until they get this fixed. Also, we have an older TV (about 1 year old), where SmartCast is still working.

OK

Sound quality is fair at best, you will need to get a sound bar to correct.Picture quality is good if you are directly in front of tv but quality drops if you are looking from an angle. Alot of the apps are useless and font size is so small you need to get close to tv to be able to read anything! This will be my last one!!! Next will be Different Brand!!!

Super easy setup

We bought the tv a month so and hooked it up to all our devices. It was some and the remote even programmed itself to our surround sound and cable box. Wish the remote had the ability to talk to it and function the tv but still great. I like all the App buttons on the remote. The picture is super clear, sports are amazing. This is our second Vizio, our other one is at least 6 years old and still works great; we only got this new one for a larger size.

Good product for the price.

This TV works well, hasn't caused me any issues so far. The absolute only con I would mention is the smartcast function has a few limitations with regards to being able to mirror a smart phone. It only casts the applications which offer smartcast as a feature.

Great TV!!

We picked up this Visio 70” TV for our bedroom and could not be any happier with it! It has a great picture, easy to set up and mount. The options allow you customize the picture to your liking and the menus are easy to navigate. We also love the fact it has many of the streaming services built in; makes it easy to always find content.

Great value for the price

Had this TV a couple weeks now. I never owned a VIZIO but my mother and sister have. they never had any issues and the TV's had good pictures. The newer ones are incredibly better. The picture on mine was surprising from the beginning. I hooked my computer and game consul to it and the picture, game play, color depth are truly breathtaking. The size and price were great! VIZIO V-Series 50” Class 4K HDR Smart TV, V505-G9 with all the online apps I use in one package (no need for third party items). All around VIZIO hit a home run with this TV.

Excellent display quality. Great features.

We have had this TV for a few weeks now. Easy to setup and get through the menu. Great app for use on your mobile device. When you have a young child in the house that is a game changer when they don't know where they put the remote. Only thing we have found is that the sound doesn't work sometimes on certain channels when switching from an app to antenna. Just need to switch to another app and back again and all the sound comes back.

Long time Vizio fan very dissapointed!

Let me start by saying I have 5 Vizio TVs going back almost 15 years. All had been really great TVs & still work. All but the one I bought 2 years ago. After 2 years half the display has gone dark. Go figure that the newest one is the one with issues. So I decided to replace the unit with a newer version. Got the V505-H19 & turned it on & could instantly see an issue. Looked like it had a frame around the display. The outer edges (about 2" thick) were brighter than the rest of the display. This was most noticeable when watching sports. Especially hockey or anything with a white or bright background. So I packed the unit back up & exchanged for a 2nd unit. And yup! Same exact issue. Seems to be a big design flaw the the LED board. So I packed that one up as well & have returned it. Probably will now, after 15 years of buying only Vizio, go with a different brand.

Great TV's

Always have good picture quality. I've owned about every size option they offer except 80” and up. I just gave my 75” to a relative and downsized to a 50”. I did that because where I'm living 50” is the biggest you can have. I'm sure regretting it now. I laugh when I think of my whole family gathered around a 24” console TV.

The TV features are great. Do not care for the remote control at all. Buttons are too small and the closed captioning button too close to the button to change the channel. Difficult to use. Have to be careful not to drop it on the bed otherwise it can turn off the TV or change the channel.
