Doesn't always power on propertly

I bought model V705-G3 for Christmas 2019 so I have had it just over a year. For the past 3 months when I power it on the TV won't respond to the remote requests, instead I get a pretty screensaver and either nothing else or an error code 6. At the same time this started I keep getting on screen demands that I "register my Vizio" product, and a suggestion that I "reboot" the tv to factory settings. I have all of my paid subscriptions loaded (netflix,hulu,amazon) and wifi set up. I Should Not have to start this all over again. The TV also keeps 'timing out' when streaming, other devices are not doing this such as my Laptop when streaming so I do not agree with Vizio's explanation that the problem is on the end of the Network. I'm disappointed, I have always purchased Samsung previously.

Very Great Product

I purchased this product 5 months ago and it is a very good product I love that it come with many movie and Tv show apps giving you many platforms to use to watch television. That is a great feature because you may find a movie you want yo see on one app they may not be on the other. I also appreciate the free channels that come on the television. This is a very high tech product and it was well worth the purchase.

Great TV

Purchased as an early Christmas Gift. Beautiful picture and excellent sound. Everything works. One feature I don't like. When you select INPUT on the remote, I don't like the scrolling left to right display and it DOES NOT give you enough time to make the selection. The vertical list on my old TV is much better and it should stay on the list until a selection is made. Other than that ( OLD PEOPLE don't move that fast ) , its great. Warning, its BIG & VERY HEAVY. It will take TWO people to unbox and set up. The mount or stand must be RUGGED.

Vizio smartcast is everything you need!

We LOVE our Vizio smartcast tv's! We have purchased a total of 3. We have 2 and gifted one. The picture is clear. The menu area is easy to navigate. Chromecast BUILT IN!! No more plug in on the back of the tv! I can cast from my phone, tablet or laptop to the tv screen. You can access SO MANY apps from the menu, too many to list! On top of all of that, you get 140 FREE channels! You can watch game shows, court shows, movies, westerns, shows and more!! You can DITCH THE CABLE with this tv! The only negative is the volume. We have to turn it up to about 43 to hear it well. Other than that, this is the best tv we have ever owned! I recommend them to people ALL THE TIME! A personal care home where I volunteer has even purchased them!

It's great.

I am happy I bought the tv however I am unable to download hbo go onto the actual tv. I have to go through chrome cast. I love it overall. Just a hiccup I seen that made me a little irritated. But the quality and picture and everything else is great!

Great way to cut the cord!

There are a lot of streams you can watch for free as well as Premium networks that you can pay for monthly. I'm very happy with my product and the customer support that goes with it.

Best Display On The Market

I have had my Visio TV for almost a year now and can say without a doubt that it is the highest quality picture display I have ever had. The features and everything that comes with the TV are phenomenal, up-to-date, And all in all just a perfect product. I recommend buying this product 100% because you will not be disappointed!

I have had problem after problem with this TV. I have called Visio close to I have had nothing but problems with this TV. I have called Vizio at least 15 times to help fix issues. Recently I was told my TV had a Firmware issue and someone would get back to me. That has not happened yet.

Good investment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Vizio, non smart and now smart. I would recommend as I've had this smart tv going on now 3 years and I only had like maybe 2 blackouts from it but mostly from either power or needing an update but nothing to the point where I had to run and say it's a major issue, that's tech for ya.

Love this brand

Everything is good besides the older the tv some apps don't work on the tv anymore so you have to get a new one but other then that No problems
