Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup was easy and the picture quality is fabulous for this class of tv. Not to mention, the price for the quality is another plus. However, I gave this a 4 star rating because the app and connection with Alexa need serious work. The app and connection work occasionally.

Simple set up and many features

I purchased this 65" due to my old set going to a completely Black screen on movie night with my grand children. I rushed to local store picked this vizio 65" V series. To my surprise after getting to tv in place it was a short 2 0 minutes to get it all online and ready to watch. Saved my visit with the kids and we had a great time. I was impressed with the picture quality.

Love the Apps

Bought this tv for our room and I love it. It is user friendly and takes less HDMI slots because you have amazon on there already. The sound and picture quality is great for the price I paid. Definitely want to get another one for our living room soon. Highly recommend!!

Great Picture

Overall we are very happy with this TV. Picture, Sound and Streaming capabilities are great. We only gave it 3 starts because the App option is somewhat dissappointing. It only seems to offer "Conservative" News networks. Plus many of the Apps (Starz, HBO MAX, Discovery, ) we arent able to add. So we are back to hooking up another HDMI option to have those again. We were hoping to streamline a bit more.

Hello JHC77, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. Wonderful Viewing Experience

I got this smart tv about a month ago after repeatedly declaring I wanted to upgrade our former tv. This TV has changed our family viewing habits for the better. It was the first time in while that we've all enjoyed movies together. We didn't just watch, we felt like we were actually close to the action on the screen. The images are so clear and sharp! And with the smart functions, we have an almost infinite selection of movies and videos to watch without having multiple boxes and usb sticks plugged in. I would definitely purchase a Visio TV like this again.

More fun than expected

Our previous set didn't have WiFi, so adding that made a huge difference. We also installed a roof antenna to replace the flat, in-window antenna we'd been using. The TV works fine. The closest thing to a negative might be with the input selection. You press INPUT and are presented with all the choices, but before you get a chance to locate the one you want, the choices quickly disappear and it's necessary to repeat the process with a finger hovering over an arrow so you can immediately start scrolling, in order to keep the list on the screen. Other than that we're completely happy.

Great Quality for the Price

Its been a few weeks since I purchased this TV, everything about its features are great as well as picture quality. The only thing VIZIO needs to do it send out a version update for its Chromecast as well as hopefully add a Disney+ app. This has become an increasingly annoying issue.

My favorite TV in the house.

We bought this TV on a whim for my husband. At that point little did we know smart TVs were the near future. We do not have cable and this TV makes it easy to learn and find what we want to watch. No issues with this TV yet and remotes are easy to use too!

Slow, but worth the wait

My only complaints have all concerned the TV's speed, or the lack of it. Set up seemed to take forever, including updates and the slow slog through searching for broadcast channels. Since we use a cable box, that all might have been unnecessary, but the lack of instructions kept me from knowing that little tidbit. It also comes on very slowly. Once it's on, it's great. The sound level seems to be low, so it has to be turned up pretty high to hear it as well as we're used to from its predecessor (& I thought IT had to be turned up too loud!).
