Sweet Deal for a good TV

At first I was very disappointed with the colors. I feel Vizio needs to put more info on color balance and calibration. But lo and behold in the settings conveniently able to be read like a book in the television menu I was able to locate the color calibration chart complete with the tuning digits. I was able to fix the color and for the price it's a good television.

It's just so-so I'm afraid, but...

Has the potential to become a 4-star T.V. if it lasts us 10 years. The only thing that really disappoints me is the feet. Why put them so far out to the side forcing the customer to have an extra long base to house your item? It's not like the T.V. is heavy. Most of feet that I've seen are much more centrally located giving the buyer options. So I guess I would have to say that this is definitely a design flaw - especially for someone who wants to use this T.V. in the bedroom as a standard dresser size just won't do.

Nice TV for the price

It's a 4K HDTV with some quirks until you turn off the default settings. For example, the television go nuts if the internet connection is turned off until you change the default setting. I also would not suggest connecting this TV to a PC no matter how great the video card is. The TV doesn't play well with a PC. The sound is the typical tinny type you expect from most TV's. Like the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. You pay the cheaper price you get a cheaper quality TV. Unfortunately, I am from the old school way of thinking when American manufacturers and their employees took pride in their work and were willing to put their name on what they had made because they were had no doubts about the quality of their work.

My first time with a Vizio and better than Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot break enough about this TV. Not only already preloaded with everything it's already on it. All you gotta do is turn it on It's sapphire can enjoy who's worth every penny and is cheaper than Samsung and it has its own television streaming for free I love it I'll never go anywhere else to elaborate ever with everything it offers my first and last ❤️

Great Picture

I just purchased this Vizio about 2 weeks ago and the picture was amazing. I believe that the sound can be louder depending on how loud you like it. My family is very happy with this purchase. My wife actually talked me into trying this over purchasing another HiSense in which in my eyes gave amazing picture. Well I must admit Vizio has surpassed.

Great except when firmware is updated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this TV. Picture is great and easy to navigate. The only issue is when firmware is updated. One of the most recent ones caused us to have to reboot the TV every time we turned it on so it would see the signal from the source. Another one prevented us from using the remote properly. All are fixed relatively quickly but still annoying when sitting down after a long day. The newest update was the best so far because it allows us to use an app to control the TV. Love that since my kids lose the regular remote all the time. Anyway, it is a great TV other than some small glitches along the way but at least they fix them pretty quickly.

Glitch much?

Lately two of them are glitching and so much so, that I resorted to a factory reset on the primary tv, which is a pain. I haven't even bothered with the bedroom tv. I'm not sure I'll purchase another.

Good picture but everything else is bad

Honestly the picture is really good but besides that the tv kind of sucks. Sometimes the home button to go to the apps don't work and leaves me on a blank screen. Then sometimes the tv turns off on itself randomly and not because it is idle. And I always get problems when trying to use the surround sound. Sometimes it doesn't connect and I have to unplug it and plug it back in again. And other times I'll have the volume super low and it glitches to full volume. Worst Vizio tv I've owned for sure.

Birthday gift for my wife

I bought this as a belated birthday gift for my wife. She couldn't be happier. We had a 40" Vizio in the family room. Now I replaced it with the 65" TV. Every movie and show we watch is now like we are at the Theater. I have always preferred the color and picture on our other Vizio TV's and this one did NOT disappoint. Extremely Happy would be an understatement.

top of the line

i always bought top of the line TVs and paid top prices. i bought this 55 inch Vizio and paid an average price for the size. i can honestly say i got the best TV i have ever owned for a price that is well below what i expected to pay for this type of quality.
