Love the 70” screen

This replaced my Samsung plasma tv. Picture quality cannot compare with Samsung. Very grainy blacks and greys. If you want a mediocre tv this is great. I didn't want to pay the price of the Samsung so this will have to do for now. Definitely will be looking at the QLED's when I'm ready to pay the price.

To make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and are set to broadcast in 4K (2160p) or Full HD (1080p). I returned it

Apparently, there is a known issue at vizio where the home screen and most apps do not load. I spent two hours on the phone with a very nice customer service rep trying their many 'work arounds' for the firmware glitch. None worked. They are apparently working on a patch, but have no ETA for its availability (which, in programmer speak, means they haven't a clue what the problem is yet). I have no need for a 25 lb paperweight shaped like a TV so I returned it and bought the Samsung.

Really nice tv

Nice picture and features. Easy set up with SmartCast and your smartphone. Had to call in to get help with the SmartCast not working the first time due to a known issue but was resolved quickly and no issues since. Very light weight and thin with a very small frame.

Umm it's a love hate relationship.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm rating my TV, which I purchased a few years back, in hopes I can win a prize. The television is great, as far as I can tell, the only downside is the fact that after an update, it asked me to register my television and accept the terms and conditions etc. This I did however it asks me the same questions almost daily and if I dont accept the terms and conditions, it's basically a picture frame. I've contacted Vizio and they said unplug the TV, for awhile, and it should be fine but there is no change. It has to be a software issue or something but it is annoying and frustrating.

Great TV

This TV was a gift from the son of my heart on Super Bowl Sunday. Guess who didn't want to watch the game on my much smaller TV?? I did have some problems at first, After all I am over 80 years old! But I have learned an really enjoy the clarity and the great audio. It is really great!

Great TV BUT....

Great TV for price, color and most features... all that is missing is being able to add applications straight from TV. if you don't see the app you want... you have to download the VISIO app... if the app is there... great easy add... but if its not... then you can't add the app and you have to stream from your phone to your tv... which again for the price we got it for... not a deal breaker... but i can see how it could be irritating.

Good image, weak sound, USB functionality lacking

Have been using this for 3 weeks. The worst thing about the TV from my perspective is the fact that playing a movie from USB stick, it is not possibler to resume watching the film where you left off. You must forward through half of the film to get to where you are. Basic function that is missing. Can't connect HDD through USB. Can't shuffle music or pictures through USB. All else is reasonably functional. Not a fan of the OS, it is slow and confusing. Sound is weak so it will need a soundbar. Low refresh rate. Decent otherwise and for the price acceptable in case you were not planning to run anything off USB.

Quick access to many great features.

Wonderful tv. Great resolution and colors. I've noticed only one problem so far. When you turn on the TV and want to watch what is on the current input, it will not show up without changing input and returning back to that input. Great product otherwise.

Nice...at first

After having the TV for only 10 months, and barely using it, the TV stopped working as a smart tv- which was the main reason we bought it! Only option from Vizio was to replace it with a certified used TV. I did not want to take this option but was given no other choice. After an UNSCHEDULED delivery attempt, I had to call Vizio back to reschedule. I spent well over 5 hours getting my problem solved...and only got 3 month warranty on the used TV. I will seriously consider NOT buying a Vizio product again.

The correct way to pronounce VIZIO....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is to the toon 'Old McDonald Had A Farm' V-I-Z-I-O. I like the TV overall, have it Ethernet plugged so responds quick. Sound is sub par. You cannot customize homepage other than app order. Picture is very nice compared to our old TV.
