The VIZIO V-Series 50" Class 4K Smart TV | V505-H1 is a great step for early cord cutters. The features included in the TV are great and easily explained in the manual if the need arises. Up and running within 1/2 hour. Plenty of WatchFree channels, which is a plus for the monthly bill cost conscious. The only upgrade I would suggest is more current selections for streaming services but maybe they are coming down the road. A great value for the money.

Best product for entertainment I've purchased in many years my wife loves it the kids love it and in just under a month it's found its forever home mounted right up there on the wall in all her 65 inches of glory.. For all our friends and family that visit to always be blown away by the clarity of picture definition is one thing... But when i activate/power on my vizio wirelesss surround sound, "sound bar and sub woofer" the chatter really begins! While all of that is (in and of itself very awesome).. The most amazing part is that when asked the price total of my vizio home entertainment... The look of disbelief on their faces when I tell them I purchased all of it at just under 7 hundred bucks.. will never get old! Overall the TV is good. The only exception is the CEC function. For most people this won't matter, but for me it would be nice if I could make it work properly with my soundbar. If the CEC function worked properly, everything would work with one remote. Other than the problem with the CEC, the TV is a good product. If not for the CEC problem, I would highly recommend this product.

Better screen picture, crisp colors. Takes a while to figure out channel selections and features, trial and error - no guide found yet. Transmission of video from cell stutters, problem of refresh rate probably. So far like the TV, just new to learn its "Smart" features.

I bought this tv about 3 weeks ago and have been very happy and the price was right for all of the features you get. This is my 2nd vizio tv upgrading from a 32 inch and the only thing negative I can say about this tv is that i wish you could adjust the sound to have a little more bass .

I bought this smart TV as a family tv. My mother is older and it's hard with all these new electronics to learn. I am grateful this tv is very easy to use and understand! The sound quality is great and the picture is nice. I need another tv for a bedroom and you can bet it will be a VIZIO

The picture is great! Love how I can stream everything right from the tv. It does lose the connection a lot. I know it's not the wifi. The wifi says it's connected but playback for Hulu will stop working or the Pluto tv stops then I have to reset it. It gets really annoying especially when your in the middle of a movie it and episode of your favorite show and have to restart the tv two or three times before you even finish watching. It's a lot Better since we switched it off eco mode but it still does it once in awhile not as much as it use to.

Got it for my birthday almost a month ago. Walked in the family room 3days after purchase and the audio was gone. Had to reset it. Tried to cast my phone to it and it worked one time. Had to reset it again. After a couple weeks of repeated failures I took it back and bought a Samsung.

I have had it as your TV for 15 years my friend just bought a Panasonic and Visio blows it out of the water. The Vizio Remote is perfectly laid out with all buttons you need accessible. Many other smart remotes have eliminated the keypad for numbers and the remote is awkward. Now with all of the built-in casting apps, No other smart TV can hold a candle to the Visio in my opinion. This is my second one and I will buy nothing but Visio from now on. Long lasting, exceptional quality, great value. Could not be happier with my purchase.

Santa brought us a new Vizio to replace an older model which was starting to drop sound. The picture is gorgeous from everywhere in the room, and the sound is wonderful. There is easier access to apps and on-line services than before, and the remote control is simple and effective. We love this television!
