Great value!

Great value and quality for the price. I'm not a gamer and don't have high specs for TVs -just a basic TV that's easy to set up, has a good picture quality and doesn't cost the bank. This checked all my boxes. The sound quality could be better though.

Overall a great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this TV for about 3 years now and for the most part it has been a fantastic TV. Sound quality, picture quality, and streaming capability are great. There have been a couple times where the TV has “frozen” and I had to reboot. This may have been an issue resolved by an update, because I have not dealt with that in a while. My only complaint would be the streaming apps offered. It seems that the selections are somewhat limited compared to other softwares.

Disappointing

I loved Vizio TVs pre smart TVs. I have purchased two now, thinking the first one was just bad luck. But it's unpredictable and I've wasted too much time try to solve an issue only to have to factory reset which is extremely disappointing. I will be branching out for my next purchase.

Easy to understand

I'm not that savvy with electronics so it's nice being able to understand what I'm doing with it. I would give it a 5 star rating though if the speaker volume was louder. I feel i shouldn't have to have the volume up over 60 just to hear it clearly with better speakers.

Worth every penny!

I've owned many HD TVS, from plasmas to LCD, LED's. My first HD TV was a 51" plasma. Loved it paid over 1800 that was back in 2011. This Vizio hands down is an awesome buy! I have had Vizio in the past to haven't had any problems at all with the Vizio brand. This 4K does what it says easy hook up to the Internet apps work flawlessly colors of vivid, accurate. It had a ton of settings if you liked tweet. Out the box after running the setup I didn't have to adjust one setting. Long do you have to go in and tweak a little bit to get the colors accurate but not with this one. The free TV app pretty awesome I'm digging the Pluto channels I haven't even explored all the others yet very nice Vizio bravo! Anyone looking for a 50" 4K with Dolby vision, full array 120 Hz I would highly recommend this unit!

Love Vizio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third Vizio that I have bought for myself. I absolutely love them. Part of my love is for the "Blank Screen" setting. It allows me to have sound without the bright light to keep me awake when I go to bed. But then add in all the other features and it makes these TV's PERFECT!!! I will never buy a different brand.

Too many glitches

Initially I had trouble setting this up but after doing a factory reset was able to get it working. I've had several instances where the tv won't turn on at all. I have to manually hold down the power button for several seconds before it will turn on. I also keep getting kicked out of shows, not sure why. Sometimes it will go back to home but usually the unit turns off. The volume doesn't stay consist between the channel apps.

Really not the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this TV for a couple years now and I'm really not impressed. The smart tv function doesn't allow for me to add apps that are not already installed on the TV. So my specialty apps like Angel Video and Newsmax are not able to be installed on the TV but can only be cast from my phone. The sound quality is also not good at all - no wonder they're also selling a sound bar. This TV is mounted in my small bedroom, so the sound doesn't have to be hugely loud, but there are times I have to turn it up pretty loud - louder than it should be, and my hearing is just fine. Overall, not a fan.

Nice picture

I bought approximately a month ago and after figuring everything out, it's a great tv. Good picture sound is ok, but not great. I had a 50” Samsung tv, it only lasted a year and a half and started turning it's self on and off by it's self. So I bought this one figuring the repair process would be lengthy on the Samsung. Once I discovered the built in manual for the tv in the menu screen I was off and running. The self start up did not work the first time through and had to unplug tv and re run the start up process and with a few try's it finally loaded and worked. After that it wasn't bad. I've heard good things about Visio TVs from friends, so I'm giving it a try. Not a bad choice so far. Thanks

Great looking 4k TV with good features

I bought this a month ago and so far it looks great and operates with no problems. I like that is has multiple HDMI input and audio out options. My only complaint is getting the input options to come up, sometimes it doesn't work when using a 4k player, roku or other external device and way to switch to another device. You have to click Home, and from there it will allow you to select input options. 4/5 stars for price, quality and features.
