Not bad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this over a year ago and up until a few weeks ago, my tv has been acting very strangely. It sometimes won't turn on. It sometimes won't turn off. Late last night it turned on by itself. I've had to constantly reboot it to make it work properly. I've even had to give it a complete factory reset a few times just so the apps would work and to get it from freezing.

First SMART TV...

I've only had the set for two weeks, so there is still some learning to do.It meets - and exceeds - my expectations with two small tweaks required, in my opinion. First, the remote could be made a little more intuitive. Second, and extremely helpful to older consumers (I'm 74), a hard copy of the users manual would significantly simplify set-up and adjustments.

This t.v. is great!!

I bought this at the beginning of April and I'm really glad I did! It's so smart and you can use voice control! The remote is small but enjoyable and all the features are amazing! You should just buy the t.v so you know what I'm talking about. The t.v's color is amazing and it's big enough for the whole family to enjoy.

Outstanding Value!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 50" is our second Visio television, the first being a 23" we bought for our RV. It replaces a nearly 15 year old plasma tv that was state of the art when new, and it blew the plasma tv away! It already has most of our favorite channels, all we needed to do was sign in once we paired the visio to our home network. The picture is wonderful, and there are many adjustments to customize you view and sound. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. And its light weight compared to the older TVs, and easy to wall mount if have a decent bracket to hang it on. The only thing that I would change is to have it update in the background, it was a good half hour or more before it completed the initial update from first power on. I liked best that when I signed in, it seemed to synchronize with our other visio tv preferences.

Perfect except for audio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV new in box in 2023 (so 3 years after it came on the market. The firmware updated during setup, and went smoothly. Others have complained about the speaker/sound quality. I will join that group, but it's not that bad. If you want good sound quality, buy a soundbar (which is funny, because the only reason I am submitting this review is to enter for a chance to win a VIZIO soundbar- maybe its all part of some master plan to get people to submit reviews?) I like the picture quality and style. Most things are fairly intuitive to figure out. Overall good rating, and I'm happy with the quality.

Screen size

I have 65” but only get 55” on Dtv. Unless I zoom and then menu and channels get chopped off at top.. Visio rep blames Dtv which is only passing the buck.. only have 65” if watch in-tv programmed channel, example Netflix.. very misleading and u really don't have to other than to make customer feel cheated.... recommend only with screen knowledge

Consistently good TV for many uses!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV roughly 4 years ago and have had nothing but a positive experience, I love the 4k resolution for gaming with a Xbox Series console, and colors are fantastic and easy to adjust. The sound leveling feature is wonderful for movies when the volume of a scene drastically changes, no more struggling to hear what they're saying! My only drawback that keeps me from giving a full 5 stars is the OS is occasionally slow and hangs up, but it usually resolves itself within a few seconds and then performs normally. I would definitely purchase another Vizio product in the future.

Nice TV

Very decent TV. Bought this for exercising in the basement. So I was not expecting super high quality picture. The picture looks fantastic but at times it appears slightly washed out. I might have been disappointed if purchased as the main TV. As a secondary TV it more than lives up to its purpose. The smart features are good. Unlike other TVs you have to change the input to watch streaming. A bit different but not a problem.

Great Quality

I purchased this television after doing lots of research on other brands. This was by far the best choice for picture quality and in terms of how smart the television is. Great buy, great product. I will definitely look to Vizio first when i purchase my next television.

New tv

I have used Vizio for my past 3 sets. All continue to work use fine. I bought a new smart cast 43” and have not had any problems. I receive OTA tv only and the channels have been in/out with my new TV if the signal is weak, though I still receive the channels on my Samsung TV. Not sure if the tuner is as strong as previous models. Overall very happy.
