[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup was very straightforward and only took about 15mins including software updates over wifi. I couldn't find a single issue with the software used on this TV and found it easy to navigate all of the menu options. I'm still dialing in the preset picture options, (color, contrast, sharpness etc.), settings for 1080 viewing. I was able to stream both 4K and HDR10 over wifi with a sharp, clear color correct experience using a factory preset. I only used the on-board speakers for a couple of minutes before switching over to my stereo setup and found they were on par with other in set speakers. The passthrough audio worked perfectly over optical to my home theater setup. This set definitely works well with 4K and HDR videos and you'd be hard pressed to beat this quality for the price.

I replaced my older 32" Vizio smart TV with this 50" 4k UHD smart TV, and paid less than $100 more for the 50" than what I paid for my 32" 4 years ago. I cannot believe what a great product this TV is for the price. The smart featured are excellent, I love that it has built-in integration for Alexa and Google home, and there are so many free options to watch! Only downside, I wish the picture was a little brighter.

While making selections with the remote, its hard to select an item because it either over or under-shoots the item you want. When changing the volume, it continues to increase or decrease the volume after you stopped pressing the remote buttons.

It was also very simple to connect. The picture is unbelievable.. it is very clear and looks real, like u are actually there. It was also very simple to set up my Alexa. I am very happy with this product. It I see the best tv I have ever owned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I began to remove the Vizio V585X-H1 58” 4K TV from the box this weekend, I knew our family was in for a great experience. The packaging was great – everything was easy to remove – and we were ‘up and running' in no time. We chose to place the TV on a wall mount (already in place) which was easily accomplished. Plugged in the HDMI cable from our Cable Service, attached our steaming device through the third HDMI port, and as a bonus, used HDMI Port #1, which is also the ARC port on the V585X-H1, to connect with our Vizio V51-H6 soundbar. Plugged in the power cord and within seconds we were inputting the needed information to connect to our home WIFI, named the location for the TV, took care of all of the other registration information needed and waited just a few minutes as the TV updated the firmware/software. We were watching the Masters Golf Tournament on our new Vizio V585X-H1 within 40 minutes of taking it out of the box. During Sunday Night Football, it looked at times as if the players were going to join us right in our lounge. We could even pick out raindrops on the players helmets as we watched! Everyone I know has their own preferences when it comes to what kind of picture, and sound levels, they want on their television. Our family is no exception. After watching for about an hour, and putting the TV through its paces including Smartcast, Watchfree, and our streaming service, I made just a couple of picture and sound adjustments that work best for our family. During setup, the V585X-H1 synced right up with our cable service remote allowing us to use it to control power on/off, the volume, as well as cable channel selection. A huge plus in these days of multiple remotes. We do keep the remote that came with the TV on hand to control Smartcast and Watchfree when not using the Smartcast App (which worked right away) on our smartphones and tablets. We plugged in a USB ‘thumb drive' with pictures from our last vacation in Hawaii. The pictures were clear and crisp, and navigation was easy. In conclusion, our family is average when it comes to technical ‘expertise.' However, technical ‘expertise' is not needed with the V585X-H1. Set up was easy – viewing from wide angles great, the picture and sound crisp and clear. We highly recommend the Vizio V585X-H1 as a great family TV that will provide great entertainment value!

I had a 55" TV that just quit working so a new TV was a fact of life. Well why not upgrade at the same time.After some research I found this Vizio TV with everything I wanted and more. The price seemed perfect as well and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

I have another 50” that is about 5 years old and just a 1080p but is still like brand new.. the 4K is an upgrade and is everything thing you'd expect. The size is perfect for video games and still big enough for movies. Better for a small home or bedroom. If you buy for Xbox one x you have to adjust some settings on your Xbox to get the 4K screen FYI

The TV comes with a lot of apps for your viewing pleasure. I like the fact that it's also a smart TV and can be controlled via mobile app. The sound quality is also great. Great purchase and brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this TV in January, and it's been great. The picture quality is amazing, nearly unlimited number apps, and it has tons of features. Our favorite feature is the connectivity. This thing will connect to any mobile device out there, as well as your desktop computer! We've finally found a single device that acts as the hub for all of our entertainment (ie. all video and music streaming apps, all photos stored on mobile devices, smart home devices, and even local television channels).

I bought this tv over a year ago and I love it. I love that different streaming apps are built into the tv. Very convenient and easy to use! My most favorite feature is the chrome cast! I can cast anything to the tv from my phone, iPad or laptop! It's been a big help with assisting my son with virtual learning.
