Software Integration is not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this product a year. They just pushed out an update and now the TV is frozen, the remote doesn't work. Spent hours online trying to fix. (this is a common issue) Finally spoke to someone and they are sending out a technician to try and fix. Still haven't heard from the technician. I'm skeptical and think the technician will only be able to put a band-aid fix if they can get it to work. (They only warranty the work for 3 months) Thus, probably going to be without a TV for another 2 weeks.

Not that great

I purchased the 43” V series to replace my 32” rca, I have a outside antenna, my RCA picked up 38-40 channels my new Vizio is lucky to pick up 26. It won't pickup local channels that should be no problem. I'm seriously thinking about returning it for my money back and getting another RCA.

It's the BOMB!

I bought a 40inch Visio for my bedroom and found to be AWESOME! So when I decided to go big or go home for a tv for my sewing room I definitely sought out the Visio. Trust me when I say I am so happy with this TV. Yes, it is enormous but who ever complained that their TV was too big (not me). The colors are vibrant and sharp and the smart part of it is a freaking genius. My only worry is that I will break or loose the remote because that thing is the key to the knigdom.

Great TV

This TV has been great to us so far. Overall, we love it. Good quality picture. Perfect size for our living room. Easy to use and navigate the different functions. The Apps work really well. It works great with our Apple TV. The only downside is the sound quality. It can be tough to hear a lot of things. A soundbar is definitely a necessity to compliment this TV. However, I feel like this issue is pretty common for a lot of TVs now. All in all, we are enjoying this TV and are very happy with it.

Superior Value!

As a Quality Professional I must say this is a grand value for not only it's specs., but it's actual product quality delivery. I'm glad I chose this as it is well worth the chance that turned out to be a real winner. Just bear in mind, that there was an actual break in period, it took several hours before the color brightness began to shine in it's beautiful vibrancy.

Not the sharpest

Demo video is very vibrant but normal use not so much. Black is not deep and overall picture is slightly soft or hazy. We have tried adjusting and re calibrating several times. It is better if you are directly in front but loses sharpness if you move to the side. Disappointed as it does have many good features. Our older Vizio 47" actually seems better.

Hello Texastoast46, Thank you for the feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition or 4K signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD or 4K, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD or 4K picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

All the smart features it offers make life a lot easier when navigating our streaming services. We are not using all the features at this time, but I look forward to utilizing them in the near future. It's great!

Additional Features

Better screen picture, crisp colors. Takes a while to figure out channel selections and features, trial and error - no guide found yet. Transmission of video from cell stutters, problem of refresh rate probably. So far like the TV, just new to learn its "Smart" features.

Good features, excellent pictures!

I received this as a gift about two weeks ago. All the features are excellent, however, the only problem is that there are not enough inputs and outputs. With my old TV, I could record my favorite shows on DVD or Tape. I have been unable to figure out how to accomplish this task with limited inputs or outputs. Other than that I believe this is an excellent product!

Absolutely Love this TV, but.....

Big tv. Beautiful picture! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because sometimes the screen will go blank and stay blank even with the power light still on. Only way to fix it is to unplug tv from the wall and plug it back in. It will reset, and everything's back to perfect. Other than that I love it!!
