Member's Mark Spicy Chorizo Soup is one that I wanted to try for a long time, but I was afraid that it would be too spicy. It turns out that there is a perfect balance of spice and Acini di Pepe pasta. The pasta is similar to Israeli couscous, so it adds texture without the taste of pasta. There were chunks of chorizo and the base was pleasant. It is a thick soup that teeters between soup and chili. Topped with some shredded cheddar cheese and a bit of sour cream, this soup transforms to a full meal.

I was very pleased to open the container and find that the soup was not runny and thin like most soups I find pre made in the store. The instructions are very clear and the information is easy to follow. I really enjoy the bite of spice that you get from the chorizo and the peppers. It is not overpowering but gives it a nice flavor combined with the black beans, corn, tomatoes and noodles. This is a very good tasting soup, you can taste all the different flavors in every bite and has the hearty feel of being made at home from scratch. Its a major bonus that it comes with two containers and in such large portions! You don't find this size for the price at the grocery store. I will be purchasing this soup in the future especially for the cold days ahead.

This is a wonderful hearty soup with the perfect amount of spice! It can be its own meal or add it to your Taco Tuesday! It is very filling but still on the light side so it doesn't leave you feeling too full. My family and I started talking about all the things we could even add this to so we can enhance other meals such as Mexican Manicotti, or pour over enchiladas. Will definitely be purchasing again!

I tried this soup and it was really good! The price was pretty decent for the amount you get. This soup is definitely a meal and hearty. I recommend this if your thinking about buying this product.

This soup is very filling. It's hearty but also light enough for warm days. It's not too spicy but a tad bit too salty (for me) but if eaten with a few no sodium crackers, tortilla chips or plain rice the salt is not noticable. Most of the ingrediants are tasted in every bite. I will purchase again.

I was excited to try this soup. I'm a hard corps Chorizo lover. But.... was not as good as I hoped. The spiciness was very good (spice but not hot), and LOVED the pasta instead of rice....but not much Chorizo in there and the ones I tried, the beans were needing more cooking time. (still rather hard and crunchy). Also had a lot of bell pepper flavor, where I had expected green chile or Jalapeno. But to be positive, How would I improve it if I was Sam's club? - Use Spanish Chorizo sausage rather than ground and black beans instead of the red, swap the bell peppers for roasted green chile. Final thoughts - Good for those who want a little spicy vegetable stew, but it's not Southwest Oh,but it does make me look forward to my next Chorizo and eggs breakfast!
