I have used only Bounty paper towels for about 15 years. The *new* trap & lock technology is terrible. This is not a defect, this was done on purpose to cut costs and make a bigger profit. The towels feel less absorbent and are a tad thinner. When I wet the paper towel it shrinks down into a tissue-like texture and barely picks up a spill. I hope the company listens to its customers. Bring back the trusted, quicker, picker upper!

You keep saying you last changed your formula/technology in Feb 2021 but we don't believe you. Didn't start encountering these newer, less absorbent, inferior paper towels until literally a few weeks ago. Go back to the old formula or you'll have lost another 20+ year customer for good

You can give me all the data you want on how absorbent these new towels are, we touch these with our hands, dry our hands, etc. The feeling of these new towels are horrible. Let's hope that like Coca-Cola, that the folks at Proctor and Gamble realize this was a bad decision and bring back “Bounty Classic”. The folks in R&D and Marketing should get a big black eye over this one.

I recently got a new pack of Bounty paper towels. They used to hold up great while scrubbing tough sticky messes on the countertop. Now they feel cheap, like a bargain brand, and tear easily. Real disappointment from a former lifelong Bounty buyer. No longer!

Bounty paper towels were always my go-to. Then COVID happened and it seemed that the paper towels began to get thinner and more rough. I was willing to allow Bounty a temporary hall pass because of the pandemic, supply chain issues, etc. Now that we're past that, these paper towels seem to only be getting WORSE. How is that even possible? Don't even dare to think about drying your hands or face with these. In fact, do everything you can to avoid having these paper towels touch your skin at all because it's like sandpaper! These paper towels have gotten beyond rough. They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Time for me to stop being insane by continuing to buy Bounty when the quality has declined to this. I will be on the hunt for another paper towel brand.

Take a look at the headlines that forced Smart Balance to go back to their original formula. They thought we wouldn't notice that water was the first ingredient. What did Bounty do? It now has that Dollar General paper towel feel to it. The half sheets stay curled up. They feel like plastic was added or some other addition. Not as soft. Please go back to what it was. Do your executives use the product? They would know right away.

I've always preferred Bounty paper towels because they seem more absorbent than most others. (I hear they use more paper. OK.) However, recently we are finding them difficult to tear off the roll. We always buy select-a-size and I think the perforations changed at some point so that they are much harder to tear cleanly. I'm hoping this is temporary.

After reading so many negative reviews, I have decided to purchase another brand. I am changing so I don't get stuck with 16 rolls of disappointment. Why on earth would Bounty change the best towel offered to a cheaper version?? Apparently Bounty has taken the best and decided to be like the rest. Such a shame! Instead of all the automated responses, how about addressing what created the change.

Honestly I thought it was me... I've never bought the "prints" so when they were horrible I thought it was just the prints, but after the other reviews I know it is all your products. I've never used any other paper towel, but I'm going to now. What happened???

I'm surprised so few people have not pointed out how nasty these paper towels smell when wet. They smell like old wet books. They never used to do this. Whatever change you made in your process has lost you a brand-loyal customer. Can't even dry a counter or fry hands with these anymore without them smelling like wet paper. Forget using them to wrap up a frozen burrito when microwaved, unless you want your burrito to taste like a wet book.
