OK folks, this is a specialty, flavored coffee and if you don't add some type of your favorite sweetener to it, then you won't be able to taste how delicious and satisfying it truly is. I've tried it (in error) w/o any sweetener in it and it absolutely sucked...no bueno, I spat it out, but then added my go-to beverage sweetener to it and it's freaking fantastic with all the flavors and nuance blended into this coffee! While I do love this coffee (sweetened) on it's own, I now buy the bag of it and blend that with my dark roast/french roast coffee, which gives it a bit more body while retaining the delicious aroma and flavor of this 'King Cake' coffee...even the coffee grounds smell great, so I leave them out to dry. I'm still using a Kuerig, but just with the ground, bagged coffee rather than these pre-pack pods, which cost a lot more in comparison. That also allows me to adjust my desired coffee 'strength' and still get a full cup to drink. :) Cheers, and I'll be buying this coffee just as long as it's available, as it is truly special. Coffee should make you smile, and this one does, when sweetened a bit to bring out the flavor in it.

This is my all-time favorite coffee! I make sure to have it in stock at all times even though I live in California. I have been drinking Mardi Gras King Cake since I was in New Orleans and fell in love with it in 2017. Give this a try and see if you are as hooked as I am!
