I remember the hurricanes of the past and all that goes with that. I donated my last one after not needed for years but immediately after I was concerned, and stumbled across this one super affordable was actually delivered and easy assembly super portable and now with my portable a/c when and if I need it I'll stay cool. Cost less than a fancy night out. Will last me much longer .and delivered! Kool!

I bought this generator during the no sales tax week for hurricane supplies. I paid $249 I believe. I did start it up and it started up good and it runs good. It runs much quieter than a previous one I've used. I'm now prepared for this hurricane season.

I bought this two weeks ago to use for a project at home. the generator ran for about two hours and then quit, it would not start. After investigating found the boot that fastens to the spark plug had broke. Can not find out manufacture of engine to get a replacement part. A poor design for the boot with vibration that the engine has.

I bought this prior to Irma and we did loose power and was able tom provide adequate power for 2 refrigerators and 1 freezer plus lights for one day with no problems. The generator is a little nosier than I would like but considering the price and the output it is a tremendous value. I have already recommended to a friend and he bought one already.

I bought this generator a month ago as a back up, if the power goes out. Unboxed it, put the wheels on, added gas, and started right up. It was easy to get everything put together. We did experience a a little damaged when they shipped the pack, a cracked receptacle box. I called Black Max and they are getting another one sent out. Phenomenal service from Black Max.

The generator arrived broken and, according to the company had to be returned to Sams. I returned it with no problem, except for having to haul it 20 miles to the store (it had been delivered). When, as instructed, I reordered from the website, the item was no longer carried (not just 'out of stock'). I was forced to buy a comparable one at a higher price. Looks like bait-and-switch!

I have owned about 100 different generators for my business. This one is the best by far. The larger the generator doesn't always mean more power. This little generator runs large equipment and everything else I need quietly and efficiently. Even my RV. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that sometimes after a couple weeks they stop working and then its back to the store for a replacement. So, if you buy one, run it and make sure its going to last. The ones I have that lasted over a month have now lasted several years with steady weekly use.

Good for running limited items and very easy to move about...I use this when I do not want to move my large generator...I found that it destroyed some electrical boards on some devices, not all, but some for reasons two different components were fried...might be best if you used a battery powered backup, as then the generator is only charging the battery and not the electrical component....did very well with all motors and tools

Purchased this to use for power outage. Recently lost my refrigerator due to compressor burned up. Had a small fridge for backup then lost power. Out of the box it works fine. Will see next time power goes what it will do.

After 5 years it still starts on the first pull. It runs 2 full size refrigerators,3 lights, coffe pot, microwave , TV and two fans. Runs all night on the tank of fuel. Could not be happier with this purchase.
