I gave this product a try and I have to say the results were nothing less than perfect. It eliminated the weeds in roughly two days. I recommend everyone try this product as I will continue to use it as needed.

I received a request to test this product and leave an honest review. I was pleasantly surprised with the effectiveness of Spruce. I have some pretty tough weeds that are hard to kill. Product says it shows visible results in about an hour, so I took photos at exactly the hour mark. It absolutely shows results within an hour. While it has a very strong odor, it is not unpleasant. Very citrusy. The design of the sprayer is amazing. This is the best packaging I have ever used. It does not kill some types of grassy weeds, but it seems to work when used as directed. I love the fact it is pet friendly. I would use this again.

I received this product for testing purposes and this is my honest opinion. I don't normally use weed-killer products because they are toxic and can harm the bees and destroy the soil, so I was interested in trying a product that is safe to use around pets. We are in between lawn services, so the weeds on the fence line have gotten a bit out of control and even when we did have lawn service, it was impossible to remove all the weeds because it is a chain link fence. The product was easy to use and the instructions were clear, but I recommend using a face mask so you don't inhale any of it. It has been windy lately so it was hard to spray and make sure that the product wouldn't be carried away by the wind. I found the smell to be very strong. Not unpleasant, per se, but very strong and it persisted until the next day and I could even smell it in my house. I am guessing that was the Geraniol I was smelling. I initially wanted to try it only in one small area, but eventually, I sprayed it along the front yard fence and also in a small area overgrown with weeds. I don't think the pictures do it justice, because the lighting was not helping, but the first picture shows the "Before" at the beginning of the fence, and the rest of the photos show the "After" along the entire fence. It might have taken a little longer than an hour for them to dry out, but they did dry out. It dried out both weeds and grass. There are areas that are still green, but that's because they weren't sprayed enough, I am sure. You can see a lot of yellowed weeds and grass in the photos. So it is definitely efficient. It gets 5 stars for how it works and how quick it is, but I did deduct one star because the scent is very strong and it gave me a headache.

I was not expecting this product to work as good as it did. The convenient handle made it very easy to use. I followed the instructions, and just like it said, the weeds began to die in about an hour. The next morning, the weeds were dried up and dead. I would recommend this, and I will buy Spruce Weed Killer again.

Tried this product on a small patch of weeds and took a 1 hour photo. As you can see there is definitely some 'dying' going on; but I wouldn't say they are dead in an hour. But it is really working so that's good. The spot treatment spray design was simple and easy to use and I liked having it for small areas and not have to lug around the jug.

I've tried this product three times to make sure i was doing it correctly with temperatures and sunny days, etc. first of all this product has a very strong odor that at first seems ok but then is extremely overwhelming for days. used as instructed and the weeds just turned yellowish in an hour, yellow in an hour and finally brown after 2 days but the roots still seemed alive. results are slow and still not the best.

Di WAS VERY SKEPTICAL OF IT WORKING IN 1 HOUR. i CHOSE WEEDS AROUND THE BASE OF MY AC AND SPRAYED THEM NOT A SOAKING SPRAY BUT WHAT I NORMALLY USE WITH A MONSANTO PRODUCT. QNE HOUR LATER, I WAS AMAZED TO SEE ACTUAL RESULTS!!! IF I HAS USED A SOAKING SPRAY THE RESULTS MAY HAVE BEEN BETTER, BUT IT WORKS!!! AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES THE VEGETATION WAS WILTED AND NOW 2 DAYS LATER IT IS JUST DRIED UP STEMS. THE MONSANTO PRODUCT TAKES A WEEK TO WORK AND ONLY AFTER 3 DAYS CAN I BEGIN TO SEE EFFECTS. i have tried repeatedly to include a before and after picture but the web site will not respond. you can used you imagination.

The Spruce weed & grass killer shipment I received had product that was leaking in the box from the EZ Aim bottle. The lid had been knocked ajar upon receipt. The snap and spray system did not leak. I still had quite a bit of weed killer in the EZ Aim bottle to use on my grass and weeds in my front steps and circle drive. I preferred the EZ Aim bottle over the snap and spray system. I liked the fact that the sprayer did not have to be pumped, also. I used this weed killer on an 80-degree high day. The EZ Aim bottle was so convenient for me to use and sprayed further than I expected. I didn't even have to bend down, which was great! I took before and after pictures of my results after spraying one hour so you can see for yourself. I used it at the bottom of my front steps and in cracks of my circle drive and its entrance where I had unwanted growing grass and small weeds. It did kill some of the grass and some portions of the weeds but not all of it in an hour. I timed it exactly to see what had died in that timeframe. I took pictures of the area 24 hours later also and more of the grass and weeds were dead. The grass and weeds were not completely dead yet, however. It was in the 70s the second day. I think if it was hotter for a longer period of time in the daytime that it might have killed everything faster. I would use this product again. If you can make the bottles where you can pour the weed killer into the EZ Aim smaller bottle for refills, I would prefer it as I am disabled and the smaller bottle is easier for me to carry and use, just as a suggestion to Spruce for future products. I would recommend this product to you. I did like the fact that it was kid and pet friendly, which I needed both in my case. Also, this product was used in a trial promotion and contains my honest review.
