Right size, sturdy deck box. Stored my patio furniture cushions and they fit perfect. It can be locked. Almost opted for the 230 gallon but the 170 does not take up too much room. Holds 175 lbs inside and says you can sit on top 350 lbs. Dog thought it was a new house for him. 🐾

Purchased this large deck box on sale. It is a bit lighter, thinner than expected but went together easily and is pretty sturdy. It is very spacious. I am using it to store outside yard decorations, flowerpots, metal yard stakes, etc and it works great. It had room left over so a delivery person that went above and beyond even put a large package in it when it was raining then took the pic so I knew where it was! It also doubles as a nice table when cooking outside or setting a plant on. Happy with purchase.

I bought this box to store firewood that had been cluttering my patio inside a firewood ring. It was very hard to get different size wood from the ring as all the wood was in one stack. I used the cardboard box the deck box came in to create three separate areas for different size wood. It worked perfectly. But the best part was that the wood, and even the cardboard, stayed perfectly dry after a torrential rain storm last night!

Deck box purchased to store bags of fertilizer and soil amendments for gardening. They had previously been stored near my side door because that kept them out of direct sunlight and rain. But definitely not a good look for anyone visiting. Assembly took 45 minutes. I used an impact driver for the almost 60 screws. I tried a regular screwdriver too, but found that it slipped out of the Phillips head too easily. The impact driver was both faster and adidn't strip the screw heads. The screws tapped threads into plastic bosses molded into the box panels. The matching holes in the metal parts were oversize so you could position them directly over the plastic bosses. No fighting poorly toleranced screw holes--everything just fit perfectly. You need two people at the end, when you fasten the hinges on the lid to the box. My assistant held the lid and I put three screws on each hinge in less than a minute per side. You may also want an assistant when moving the fully assembled box into its final location.

The box needs some assembly. It is very spacious, even the width of a broom or the chairs you take to watch kids sports. Very happy with our purchase.

Purchased to store deer corn in barn. So far the mice have not figured out a way in. Minor issue with instructions and which part mated to another for assembly.

Looks very nice and good quality. The lid opens smoothly and no water gets in it despite all the rain we had over the last month. Most importantly assembling it was so easy and took like 20 minutes. Which is nothing compared to the other deck box I have from another famous brand. Highly recommend especially for the price.

Purchased our deck box on 5/21/25. I have been pretty amazed at how it has become a reliable place to store items from the weather. I have kept a roll of paper towels in the box, first because I forgot to remove them while working on the deck, then I realized the paper towels were a good test of how dry it is inside the box. We have had some fairly severe weather over the past year and that roll of paper towels looks about as good as the day they were put in the box last summer. My concern: a few months ago I noticed a small crack in the top right front edge of the lid. I first thought maybe something had dropped on the lid, but couldn't think of anything that would have dropped hard enough to damage it. Then recently I noticed another crack starting to develop. I realized these two areas were right above where screws attach the metal supports on the underside edge. You can actually feel a small "bump" where the screws are below the surface. Not sure how bad this i going to get, or if these cracks are going to develop at each screw location. This could be an entry point for rain.

Purchased last week. Box is missing all small parts, and the hinges for the lid. Very disappointed. Contacting the manufacturer and we will see how long it takes them to make it right. Will update with more info as I have it. Stay tuned.

I would NOT recommend. I ought 2 of these a week ago. It cracked while sliding it into place. I nudged the corner with my knee and it cracked. I’m not overweigt. I didn’t put a lot of weight on it. Unbelievably fragile. Returning both.
