Purchased a couple of weeks ago and just used the unit. I have only used with the Turbo Nozzle and must say Unit started on the first pull, had plenty power and worked perfectly. Would and have already referred to a couple of friends to also purchase. I had quite high expectations and it is always nice to buy something and it works better than anticipated. I am sure I will have many years of Operation!

Great machine for use with a 20" surface cleaner. Starts easily and has plenty of power. Might have a 2nd qt of motor 10w-30 oil to fill the machine from what is included. 1qt barely fills the engine with 1.2 qt capacity. Also, oil drain opening in frame could have been lined up better for servicing.

I have two ot this Hydro Blasters, we cleaned TWO Cooling Towers in Two Days only using the rotating tip. The project was scheduled for fur days, so we didi it in half the time. Definitely this is a great source of equipment for your job. Very efficient gasoline engine gives you four to five hours for one full tank (Amazing)!!!

Just picked this up and got it assembled and running today. Startup was easy and it fired right up. Build quality looks solid and everything feels heavy-duty. Haven’t had a chance to run it on a full job yet, but first impression is very positive. Looking forward to putting it to work.

I live in the US Virgin Islands had this shipped. Lots of cleaning after 2 cat 5 hurricanes. Only used a couple of times and so far does a good job. Cleans concrete well and adjustable pressure on the pump also allows you us use it on lighter things like screens. This is not being used for commercial purposes so I hope it lasts.

This is my second year with this unit, I still give it a heafty five star rating. Pros: - Honda kills it with thier easy start feature, one pull starts. - The Honda GX390 Commercial Series OHV Engine is thrifty on gas...runs smooth as well. - The overall package is well balanced and easy to move around...perfect size and quality of tires. - Very rugged construction, the unit is built to be worked. - Well balanced (but heavy) if one needs to pick it up and put it in the back of a truck bed. - My unit came with the Comet pump, zero complaints. Cons: - Attaching the garden hose was awkward for my large hands (to close to the motor and under the pressure hose coupler) so I extended that connection point just outside the frame and yet still is protected by the tire. Connecting the garden hose is now simple. - There is nothing to complain about with this machine, but I guess if one has to say something negative....the hose does not like to swivel at the wand*, therefore one has to wrassle with the stiff hose when changing the orientation of the wand. Overall: Love the 4,200 psi w/ 4 gallon feed, I don't use it always, but I have it when I need to get serious. I also really love the 4,200 size because it allows me to run 100 - 150 ft of hose and still have pressure at the nozzle. * One day I'm going to have to buy the proper high pressure swivel for the hose to wand.

I'm beyond pleased with the performance and value of the PS4240 I recently purchased. The level of quality of the pump and the Honda engine is outstanding. The adjustable regulator is a great feature - and a key reason I bought this unit. I think Simpson should make more of a point that this feature exists, it does not receive adequate mention in your online info. I'm looking forward to years of service from this unit. I also purchased the SIMPSON Universal 15 Inch Surface Scrubber when I ordered the washer. This is an incredible accessory and a must-have for floors and driveways! Keep up the good work Simpson!

More power than I need, had a hard time holding wand from recoil... take the crome off a trailer hitch!!! had to turn down the volume on this one pressure is off the hook! Great machine, no issues yet. Works like a champ! Very pleased and would recommend this unit to all...

Bought the PD4240 for may 500 feet of concrete driveway and also the many retaining walls I have. Was afraid it would be big and cumbersome and hard to store but it was not, not any more difficult than my old 2100 PSI machine. It starts easily and is surprisingly good on gas. I love the adjustable output pressure, and it works well with the attachment for driveway cleaning, also a SImpson product.

This pressure washer for the money your not gona find anything that comes close.It has a AAATriplex pump, which I think are the best pumps and long as you flush and use a pump saver of some sort after every use they last forever.I have a Window Cleaning and pressure wash business so I put a lot of hours on my machines.This machine is perfect cause you can adjust the pressure with the unloader valve and it also works great to bead blast stuff with.Like I said for the money this machine is the best and can pretty much do everything,just buy it! You won’t regret it,trust me,I own five of them.....
