I picked up machine yesterday and tried a few attempts to start it up. The machine did not start up the first few times. I decided to try starting it with the choke lever in run and it started right up. I have no idea why. The choke is supposed to be closed. After started it up i decided to test it and i believe it worked fine. Just a bit worried about weather the choke lever is backwards or something. Just hoping run is run and choke is choke

I have had this machine for all of 1 day, but I can tell you it starts faster and exceeds expectations for power level. I am upgrading from a different brand, but with a Honda motor. It started brand new on 2nd pull. No choke was needed and it was 55 degrees outside. This is Florida and that is cold. I am able to now reach the 2nd floor with both cleaner and rinse. I went with Simpson on the recommendation of a friend since he already had a Simpson. I really am glad that I took his advice. I already had a smaller power washer from another manufacturer but was having an issue with it and decided to purchase a new unit. I also wanted to purchase one that was a little more powerful. I couldn't be more pleased with my selection. The Simpson completed the patio cleaning job in half the time that it took me with my previous washer. Thanks Simpson.
