We have 2 other Solar motion lights that have worked for years. I moved the panel to the same area as the other one. Charged on off. Turned to Auto 60. All it would do is flash. I moved the solar panel. Left it on off. Switched it to auto and 60 timer. After a severe lightning storm it started to work . The next night it quit. I love the amount of light. Too bad it doesn't work. Why don't they send them with batteries charged?

New frosted lens reduces led brightness by half of the previous model which did not have frosted lens.The light provides ambient mood lighting rather than strong bright security light which is what was needed at my home.I'm returning this product for lighting without frosted (muted) lens. Light otherwise installed,charged and worked as advertised for the week it was up.
