Our last tempurpedic was a truly luxurious mattress. It finally had to be replaced so I chose the top of the line. Its very small, hardly meets the edges of my base. My sheets no longer fit, so i bought new sheets that were advertised to fit, they are also loose. Its still a tempurpedic, and allows us to sleep, but not the same and there is nothing else.

After 15 years our original Tempurpedic had developed a bit (just tiny but still..) of a dip. It was no longer providing the support we knew was possible. Purchased this new one, went for the top of the line, and only wish we had done so a few years ago. Everything you read about it is true (the good stuff, that is). Well worth the money.

Experience: stressful, misleading, disappointed, untrusting, not what they said it was (supposed to be a Cooling mattress), difficult to get any help from sales person and warranty department, Warranty department says it's ok to receive 2 different sized beds (2 twins XL to make a king) Poor customer service from sales person/warranty department

I had lower chronic back pain. I went on a weekend getaway and slept on a TemperPedic mattress for two nights while there. On the second morning, my girlfriend and I got up that morning, looked at each other , and said 'No More Backpain' I was amazed. I knew I was going to get one as soon as I got home. I did my research and test laid on various models and settled on the TEMPER-Luxe Adapt Soft. My back is great! I sleep much better. I love my TEMPER-Luxe Adapt Soft.

We have the firm support mattress, possibly should have taken something less firm. It does provide firm support as long as you are not near the edges. If you are near the edge there is a feeling you are tilting toward that edge. I personally do not feel that I get better sleep/rest with this mattress. Therefore, I think a good mattress at half the price would provide the same sleep/rest as the Tempur-Luxe. Oh, my wife doesn't like it at all. She prefers the Serta mattress that we got rid of.

I was gifted the mattress, but my review is my own. I've been using this mattress for over a month and it is so comfortable. My lower back pain is gone and I sleep more soundly and get a good restful sleep each night. The mattress is great for side sleepers and forms perfectly to your body. I highly recommend this quality mattress.

We are having the best nights sleep in many years. Even though we purchased the "soft", there is plenty of support and firmness for our tastes. I believe the combination of the mattress and the Ergo Plus base attributes to this. Adjusting the base to the "zero gravity" position allows us to sleep on our backs for the first time in years. We are waking up more refreshed and well rested, even if we may decide to sleep in a little longer. Once we got over the sticker shock of what mattresses cost these day, we feel it was well the the investment in a great nights sleep.

I don't think there is anything I want to say about that matters is enough, I love it I can't get enough of sleeping on this matters it's really good and comfortable and the left is great to take out all your back pain I will like to get one to each of my kids.

I've only owned a Tempur-Pedic for the last 20 years because no other mattress comes close. Started having backaches after 19 years on my original Tempur-Pedic mattress and within two weeks of getting this new one, they're completely gone. I will never own any other type of mattress, the investment is worth it.

Not one to write reviews but read several during my research of this mattresses and took them with a grain of salt. We have owned the original Tempur Pedic mattress (the one that came without different softness levels. You just ordered it by which size you wanted and I guess they just cut a slab of material). We had that mattress for years and after breaking it in from its rock hard state it became quite comfortable. As the years pasted (at least 15) I began to have problems with my shoulders as I sleep on my side. Finally decided to purchase a new mattress. My wife did not want to replace the one we had even though it was long over due as she said it was fine for her. We both had concerns that we may end up with an expensive mattress that was uncomfortable but my lack of sleep pushed me forward. I was about to purchase one of the existing Tempur mattress when a friend of mine told me wait a few weeks as they were releasing a new line. The Tempur Lux-Adapt. He said "Its a whole new animal". Taking his word i waited the 3-4 more weeks (guessed he should know as he was a manager at one of the local mattress stores) and said he tried them out at some show. When the beds arrived at our local furniture (didnt purchase the bed from my friend, sorry buddy) store they had the Lux-Adapt in firm and medium. Since our old Tempur mattress was firm and that was also what the Mrs liked I purchased that in a king size along with the Ergo-Extend base. Let me tell you the reviews were right. This mattress is prefect. I'll repeat what I read in other reviews that we really cant wait to get into bed. Its that comfortable. The Lux-Adapt in firm has just the right amout of compression. You conform to about 3-4 inches is my best guess and then you dont continue to sink further. I am six feet tall and weigh 175 pounds and my wife is small and weighs about 100-105 pounds. The bed is comfortable for both of us. she loves it and I constantly remind her that it was my idea! I am getting great REM sleep again after years of tossing and turning due to shoulder discomfort. Fantastic! The only down side some may find is that it sleeps a little warmer that our original tempur pedic. Probably due to the fact that it comforms better. The only other complaint I have is that I bought a second remote for the Ergo-Extend base only to find out you can only use one programmed remote at a time. This is something that needs to be resolved. A bed at this price point and size you should not have to be crawling to the other side to get the remote out from the bedside caddy. We have two TV remotes on each side of the bed just for this reason. Guess its some liability issue the attorneys told them about. Dont want the Mrs to ask you to get something from under the bed that she dropped only to have her lower it down on you! LOL. Seriously this is a software issue and can surely be fixed. Doing so will make the base more easily usable. Not everyone gets in bed at the same time and dont want to have to hunt for remotes. All and all only minor complaints. Literally loving the bed and the great comfortable sleep we're getting. So glad we made the change and glad I took my friends advice and waited for these new mattresses to arrive. If you are considering a memory foam mattress you have to try out a Tempur Pedic, yes they are costly but they last. Considering how much good night's sleep worth and the length of time we spend in bed annually it can be money well spent.
