It was not spicy, it did not taste authentic, and had a weird taste. I really could not recommend this as I wouldn't eat it myself. It sure did sound good though... it is a miss, sadly.

I've had the Kraft Microwavable Cups before and the water always boils over, so I wish the cups were a little bigger. It's a good thing I put a plate under it otherwise it would have been more of a mess. It comes out a bit overcooked and mushy so I try to lessen the microwave time. They're nice to have on the go when in a rush, but the mess takes away from the convenience of them. I may buy more of these in the future, but not this flavor.

I already love mac and cheese so it made it feel a little more adult with the added spice from the jalapeño. I like the flavor of jalapeno and I felt like they incorporated that well without just making it spicy. I know there are some kids out there that enjoy spicy food. So this is a good idea for those children who are experimental with flavors! My kids, I wouldn't try it, but my husband said it was very good also. Creamy and delicious as expected from Kraft with a kick ♡

Our 3 year old wanted to try it but he thought it would be too spicy for her. The serving size is nice for a quick lunch and the instructions were accurate to get a nice texture and consistency. We'd buy it again when we're in the mood for spicy food.

I was skeptical at first because most jalapeno flavored foods are terrible it at least bland but this one was neither. It had a good taste and a fair amount of heat. It could have had a stronger cheese and heat in my opinion.
