It’s not too spicy which feels like a mild spicy for me. I would definitely recommend if you can have a spicy food or would love to try. This is one of the best choices.

I also liked that the heat from the jalapeño was between mild and medium. I would probably buy this flavor of mac & cheese again. I’m personally not a fan of the jalapeños, but I could see anyone who loves a little kick liking it. It does have some spice. My kids weren’t a fan of the spicy either. Super easy to cook, just add water, microwave, and mix. It is a small individual serving so it would be great for lunches or on the go.

I ended up bringing it to my neighbor’s place just to heat it up. In 2025, with so many air fryer-friendly foods out there, I wish Kraft would start offering more versatile cooking options for people like me who’ve ditched the microwave. As for the flavor—okay, I’ll admit I’m kind of a baby when it comes to spicy stuff. This hit me with heat immediately. My fiancée (who's Mexican and has a much higher spice tolerance) probably wouldn't even flinch, but for me it was definitely spicy. Texture-wise, it’s exactly what you’d expect from an instant mac and cheese cup: kind of weird and plasticky with that typical "fake cheese" vibe. The taste wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t something I felt like finishing either. I ended up giving the rest to my neighbor’s kids. They liked it, so at least it didn’t go to waste! I love jalapeño and to add It definitely made a good combo. I would absolutely purchase this product again and I even had my family try it as well and they loved it too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were hesitant to try the Jalapeño Mac & Cheese as our taste buds are not used to any spicy. As a kids product (I don’t personally choose Mac & Cheese, unless I’m feeding the kids), this was waaayy to spicy!! Even for my taste buds that can handle mild to medium, I would consider this a level: “Spicy to Extra Spicy”. I just saw the box states “a bit of spicy”, this feels like false advertising. If there was a spice meter I would give it 3 out of 4 spicy levels. The Mac & cheese would improve if there was 1/3 the amount of spiciness. Also, an option is to note the level of spicy and offer a much milder choice. At this level of spicy, we won’t be buying Jalapeño Mac & Cheese.

I added too much water and was a bit bland, but it was still good. I really like that there are no artificial dyes added to this. Very convenient and quick. You get a good amount per cup. I felt like it didn’t taste as cheesy as the regular flavor.

The right amount of spice and the right amount of cheese…I can most see myself buying this again and adding some ground meat or seafood to round out the meal. It didn’t leave an after taste and was very creamy!
