It’s not really spicy, but it has a definite jalapeño flavor to it. It tastes like fresh jalapeño grated into the cheese sauce. It’s not overpowering and it adds just a little bit of heat and zing. It might be too spicy for little ones if they’re not used to spice, so taste it for yourself first! We’d recommend it for a side dish or even just as a quick and easy lunch.

I found that this Jalepeno Mack & Cheese is entirely too hot for my taste. It was very cheesy but had the typical powdered yellow gloopiness to the texture. I don't like how the color of the cheese powder is so neon yellow, which indicates loads of preservatives are in it. My kids couldn't even handle the heat, so we gave it to dad, who loves spicy foods, and he liked it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kraft Mac&Cheese Jalapeño has a nice little kick. This Mac&Cheese was gifted to me by Kraft and Ripple Street in exchange for my honest opinion. Jalapeño Mac&Cheese is prepared just like traditional Kraft Mac & Cheese. Boil your water, add your pasta, cook, drain, add butter, milk and sauce packet, mix well. The sauce packet is where the extra seasonings have been added. The only visual difference is small green flecks. Those flecks taste like dehydrated jalapeños to me. I was expecting the flavor to maybe be a little sweeter than hot. Thankfully, the heat is mild by my taste buds. Jalapeñoe Mac & Cheese would compliment many meals for a twist with a little kick of heat from the norm.
