The texture was just right not too soft and not too hard. The instructions were easy to follow and were accurate. The portion size was good for a quick snack. The package was cute and had little jalapeño on it.

He said there was enough heat in the sauce that he didn't need to add more hot sauce. That's a plus. However he had a hard time mixing the cheese packet up as it clumped into little balls but eventually he got it to work & it tasted fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This macaroni was actually better than I expected. The flavor is nice and a bit spicy. In my experience, the packaging was a bit messy. The cheese packet was in the bottom of the cup, which created a mess when I had to find it. In addition, water actually bubbled out of the cup during the cooking process, which led to my microwave having quite a bit of standing water inside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t sure what to expect with this, as I like spicy foods, but prepared foods with flavor packets can range the gamut from no flavor to “call the fire department”. I think Kraft struck a fine balance between the classic cheesy flavor mingled with a sweet heat from the jalapeño. I did mix up the noodles and sauce quite well, but the spice didn’t seem to cling evenly to the noodles; some bites I could only taste the cheese, some mostly the jalapeño, but the majority were evenly coated. I don’t think this will replace the classic blue box, but it would add a bit of variety to dinner time once in awhile.

But this was great and I enjoyed the flavors that the Jalapeños gave. My littlest kiddo even enjoyed it. We eat a lot of noodles, so this would be great to rotate in.
