This is the first ever mechanical pencil that I have used repeatedly every single day since I got it. I reach for it to make shopping lists, takes notes during weekly lectures and updates, or just to doodle. The click mechanism to dispense the lead is great, and so far, the lead itself has never broken. Love the removable eraser. Have not yet figured out how to replace the lead, but I think it will be easy enough. Went and purchased 2 more so that there is one at my desk, one next to my bed for late notes, and one in the car glove compartment just in case. Very reasonably priced and BIC has been making dependable writing implements for many years. Will continue to purchase their products in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is is a great pencil and our son loves to use these now for when he is in school although he is off school for the summer when it is back to school shopping time we are going to keep him well stocked in the Bic Break-Resistant mechanical pencils they are super fun and useful.

It did not break and did not skip at all. High quality and I love writing all.my orders with this before I use a pen to complete the orders I take at work because it erases easily also! Highly recommend!!

It's nice having a nice looking pencil on hand and especially one that has lead that is so durable! I didn't even know this product existed until I got to try it as a sample. I'm a big fan and will be buying more for family members and friends that could use a durable mechanical pencil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit skeptical about a mechanical pencil being more resistant to breakage but I was pleasantly surprised. Right away, I could already feel the difference in the lead. The lead felt stronger and the grip was good. My kids are always breaking the lead off of mechanical pencils but I’m actually excited to see how they do with these new ones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the bic break resistant mechanical pencils we're perfect because the lead don't break like some of them do when you're writing or you put in your book bag. I like how when you're writing the lead don't break off where you have to keep buying more and more lead. I love the different color pencils too where they don't get mixed up with other people's stuff when you're at school or at home or work
