Great pencils!

Got these for my 3rd grader after the other mechanical pencils she had were useless because the erasers would be gone so quickly. And then it was near impossible to get the eraser out. These erasers last a long time and easy to take out if you do have to replace the eraser and when refilling the lead. The only negative I’ve noticed is sometimes when erasing, the eraser will twist and start to go back in. Depending on how you’re erasing. Other than that it’s perfect and I will continue to purchase this type of pencil.

Great grip, comfortable, sturdy, convenient

Handle drip and design is amazing. I'm in nursing and always need to edit notes. The eraser twist top is genius and these pencils feel and write well. My only small complaint is the squeaky lead. BUT who cares :) I haven't broken any lead yet and don't expect to with this design. Highly recommended over the basic mechanical pencils.

The button, you push to make the lead come out, is in a bad spot as it is too easy to accidentally hit it and drop unneeded lead. Other than that it works as it should.

Ahhh, finally! A great mech pencil!

I've been purchasing Bic lead for quite a few years now, as well as their velocity mech pencils. When I came across this one, however, I was excited at the fact that the pencil casing is thicker, so it's easier to hold when my hands inevitably swell. The pencil is durable, has some heft in terms of it not being extremely lightweight, and feels great when holding it. I write a lot, so this is perfect for maximum comfort. I found the twist mechanism interesting. It works as intended, and it's strong in its stand to hold onto the eraser, giving a great hold if you need to erase a huge area, or a smaller one as it works great just the same. The new eraser is easy to snap in and keep going. I liked the side click mechanism a lot more than I originally thought I would. In the past, I would flip over my pencil and give it a few clicks on the surface of what I was writing on, dispensing the lead for use. I'm not 100% thrilled with it, but that's only a personal feel since I tend to turn my pencil around to write with a sharper end. It's not "break-resistant" lead, let's be serious. I've split a few as I'm writing, but it does have a durability unlike most lead and mechanical pencils. I found my new favorite after I came upon this beauty by pure accidental magic. If you're serious about your writing utensils and lead, and you wish for something comfortable, resilient, and built to last, this is your mechanical pencil and lead. Bic is the only brand I will buy from. Bic mechanical pencils, such as this, are worth the cost. I wouldn't go to another company unless they made it better and somehow cheaper.

A nice product to add to any art collection.

It is strong, stable, easily held steady in your hand because of the way it is made with that all in mind. They have succeeded at making a fine, affordable product. I would recommend this product to anyone who utilizes pencils. The more they do, the more satisfying this purchase will prove to be.

Great! Easy to write with, bold, smooth lines!

GREAT mechanical pencil! Fits well in your hand, is easy to write with. Has an awesome, very smooth, very bold line from the lead that I just LOVE. I have a bit of a pen fetish and am super picky about all writing utensils, so when I say this is great, it's great. The only thing I wish about it was that it had maybe a silver button instead the sporty, casual pastel color that matches the eraser. I'd prefer a more formal utensil rather than the casual, but on the other hand it is affordable and light, so it's okay. I'm just not a pastel person. But if you want a mechanical pencil that fits well in your hand, is easy to write and gives you a dependable bold, thick, smooth line, this is your pencil. Very pleasant to write with!

Great pencils

Much better quality than the typical mechanical pencil. Lead doesn’t break as easily if at all. Also, much more comfortable when holding. The eraser actually erases and the overall design is great.

It was pretty good for a start

When I first tried it worked amazingly. The only problem is that when the eraser top ran out little bit and I put it up again, I erase sometimes and it keeps going down again

Great Lead, Doesn't Break

The lead lves up to its name. I can't use regular mechanical pencils because I bear down too hard. But I haven't broken the lead yet and I use it a lot. If I have one negative thing to say, it's the eraser. Does a great job, but as it wears down, you have rotate it back up. Something should push up as the eraser wears down.
