To my surprise they did, gone is the days of constant clicking down more lead to finish writing a sentence! My son also now prefers this brand and style.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bic mechanical pencil has a very smooth writing consistency. I tried it on multiple types of paper with no issues. It has an unbreakable lead. While the lead didn't break during use I really didn't test the breaking point. Would definitely reccomend if smooth consist writing is important to you.

I feel I have more control especially when it comes to shading. Being an artist i know I'm picky on what I use. But I don't see myself buying these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would definitely recommend BIC break-resistant mechanical pencil if I was a mechanical pencil fan. I am an old school wooden pencil fan, so it would have to wow me to switch. Good pencil by a proven brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally a mechanical pencil designed to prevent broken lead! I used to get so annoyed when someone would borrow my pencil and break the lead, but this helps that never happen again. The comfort is also a nice bonus as well.

The lead is so much stronger and I don't have to worry about it constantly breaking while I'm writing, so annoying. It has and easy to use button to push the lead out, soft grip to make for comfortable writing and it even has a twist-up eraser, what other mechanical pencil has that. It writes smooth and erases nicely. It's easy to refill both the eraser and the lead. Very durable and long lasting pencil that I use everyday and will be buying for my kids as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the way the BIC Mechanical Pencil writes and that it is Unbreakable, I have a tendency to put a grip on my pens and pencils, and I often place in my pocket or purse, I have purchased the refills for my BIC Pencil and will be purchasing more for the up coming school year. I feel these last longer then a regular #2 pencil and they don't need sharpened. The eraser on the end comes in handy when you error and does not rip the paper when you use. Great Pencil for any age. Smooth writing. Never Needs Sharpened Clip on. easy to carry.
