The lead in these pencils lasted much longer and were much more break resistant than other brands I have tried. The cost is comparable to other brands of mechanical pencils as well.

The eraser does a great job, no smearing or any of that it erased quite well. The overall writing quality was good as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bic break-resistant mechanical pencil was smoother writing than most mechanical pencils, but it did still break. And it wasn't as comfortable to hold as I would have liked - which I think the awkward hand feel contributed to the lead breaking. It required me to write at an angle a little different than usual.

The wind-out eraser means I don't waste any of it, which I very much appreciate. I will definitely uy more of these to add to the pen/pencil organizer I keep beside my computer.

I did a lot of drawing and the pencils are still going. I recommend these to all my fellow artist, friends, family and colleagues because of the high quality and long lasting, non-breaking lead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Bic pencil, the lead is strong and doesn't break. The comfort grip feels great in my hand. The eraser works fast and completely removes the marking. Used this for installing a vinyl wood floor in our den. Marks easily erased. Perfect.

Looks more like a pen than a pencil. She still has a lot in there to use. So it lasts a lot longer than others
