Problematic for Teams and Zoom audio

The open ear feature is great, but these have some software / firmware issues. Multipoint pairing is very problematic. Also, when used with Microsoft Teams on the web on my laptop, they constantly mute themselves over and over. I have to manually hold down two buttons simultaneously un mute but then they just mute themselves again. Many people have complained about this on help forums for Shokz, who then either gaslight customers or blame Microsoft etc. However, I had a similar issue with Zoom. Great concept for headphones, but some serious issues they need to resolve to keep their customer base.

Get product so far

I've only worn them once so far but they worked out great. The color is as pictured (beige, which I love). Clarity on the sound was as expected. Bonus for not having to keep pulling out an ear bud to hear around you or talk to someone. Thumbs up for me.

Bone Conduction Sport Headphones

What's so great about these are the fact that they're not closing off your ears You can still hear anything around you. Especially when it comes to police cars ambulances and EMTs and fire trucks, due to the fact that your ear canal is not closed off It is not good that your ears are closed off it's actually very bad for you (My mother was a speech and hearing pathologist and she would always tell me that it's not good to close off your ear canal You need air flow). My first pair I had for over 3 years and they're still good but I needed a pair that had a longer charge time. I now have The Openrun Pro blue This model has enhanced base, dual noise canceling mic for clear calls, titanium frame for secure fit, IP55 water resistant, 10 hours of music and calls and I've actually gotten longer time than that, and quick charge. They're so light that I don't even notice that I have them on especially when I lay down and go to sleep! I recommend these to all my friends and family and anyone that sees me wearing these ask me all sorts of questions about them. It's definitely worth your money! Customer service by far is the best you could ask for above and beyond My expectations!!!

Great for classical and rock-not great for EDM

Works better than the version my friend has from 2 years ago. I'd say it has about 50% more bass. It's good enough for a lot music, but if you really love bass heavy music like R&B, funk, EDM or dubstep -you will probably be disappointed even at max volume. I enjoy EDM etc, but I switch to my 2019 Sony WH-1000XM3 when I want to listen to bass heavy music.

Hey Y’all. I love my

Hey Y’all. I love my open run pros. A few years ago I had the titanium which I really loved. But the unfortunately broke as to my carelessness when I packed them away. But now with the open run pro sometimes when I listen to something I wonder if it’s actually not coming through the headphones because I hear it so much clearer. I’m able to wear them for extended periods of time without any discomfort to my ears. And the sound is really amazing. I love wearing some thing that is not obnoxious. And doesn’t show in an awkward way like some of the other types of your phones that hang out of your ears. yes of course it’s pricey but I’m happy with the investment that I made.

Work great, but not loud enough

These are my second pair of Shokz, and I primarily use them cycling. The last pair I could hear even with wind noise in my ears - these I cannot hear at all even with the smallest amount of ambient noise, and I have not figured out why. Might be returning for a replacement pair.

Great features and lightweight.

The lightweight design makes it seem as though you’re barely wearing anything at all. I love how you’re able to easily answer calls and change songs ( by tapping the left hand side button twice rapidly). I’ve used my Shokz for 8 hours of music and almost 5 hours of straight talking in one charge. I’m very pleased and would definitely recommend!

Pretty much exactly what I wanted!

In terms of sound: these are crystal clear when listening to music. I rarely use the voice mode because I don't know that it changes it much and the music mode actually sounds better to me even for podcasts and such. Obviously they are not going to be super immersive sound but they are well balanced and have a pretty hefty sound considering how they work. Connectivity: works great for my phone! I have a microsoft surface (which has its own issues) and they aren't the best with that. The sound comes out a bit tin-y and the volume is weird to control. Not sure if it's a problem with the surface, Zoom, or the headphones. But it still works for my work from home set up and I love using them for zoom meetings so I can hear what's happening in the house and also walk away from my computer if needed. The multi-point connection hasn't really worked for me but that also may be a problem with my computer. Comfort: I have the mini ones and they fit pretty perfectly. There is still room along the back of the head (sometimes this affects my hair and wearing higher coats but it's not horrible). They do move around a bit if I'm eating or bending over but not enough to fully knock them off or anything. I would suggest starting slow when listening using these. They are weird at first and they give my head a little bit of a buzzy, headache-y feeling if I wear them too long. Charging is quick and easy. The buttons and commands are simple and easy to remember. The microphone is great! My coworkers said it sounds better than any of the other microphones I've used. Answering calls is easy and clear too! I called someone in Costco and we could hear each other just fine. Overall, definitely worth the money!

Amazing product!

2022 and 9th generation tech is a massive difference from my 2015/2016 model "Trekz Titanium". The sound is clear and pure with excellent tone. The materials are newly improved so it's soft on the skin. With the "mini" size it's a perfect fit, too. These "headphones" are a game-changer!

Ms

I am 82 years old and I love them. I can transfer my house phone to my cell and not miss any calls when I'm in my car. I can walk up to the main road to get my mail and hear everything around me. I never could stand to have button ear phones in my ears. They made my ears hurt and could not hear what was around me.
