I was an early customer of Shokz headphone. After many years of listening, my first headphone lost its abilty to hold a charge. I got the OpenRun Pro and I love it. I am convinced that it is a far safer way to listen when exercising in public space than interfering with your ability for your ears to hear when listening in spaces that are public. The improvements made since the initial headphones is off the charts.

I originally ordered the OpenRun Pros for my wife and the OpenRun just for myself. I returned my OpenRun and ordered the Pros as soon as I heard the sound difference. Worth the extra money! I wear glasses and the headphones don't get in the way at all which was my concern. 100% comfort while wearing them. Only things I don't like is that the colors are limited on the Pro compared to the OpenRun (I had bought Red but the Pros don't come in that color). Additonally, it's annoying the premium Pros are less waterproof than the OpenRun.

I wear bte hearing aids and purchased this model in case I needed to wear them to hear my books on tape, podcasts and music at the same time I'm wearing your product. As it turns out, I do need to wear my hearing aids in order to understand the words. The sounds I hear are a bit scratchy, just not real clear. I had tried a friends old pair of open run. I think that's the style where there's no much of a curve behind the ear. I don't know how old hers were but the piece which makes the bone conduction possible was larger and more solid and I could hear speech very clearly. On the model I purchased ( actually got two different ones and found the bone conduction piece small and not as solid and tight to the sides of my face as my friend's older pair) Not sure why the design change, maybe for comfort but I feel that comfort comes at the price of lessened speech clarity. At least for me.

Love the mini size as a female! This is my first pair of bone conduction headphones, rather impressive. Came with a nice carrying case for travel/protection too! So far they have a great battery life. Only draw back is I feel they could be a bit louder while still allowing you to be aware of surroundings. Overall, I would purchase again, but only with a coupon or promo code!

Love that I can hear people and things around me, while wearing these - because they sit near my ear instead of inside. They are easier to handle than tiny air buds that fall, fall out of my ear and are sometimes too small for my arthritic hands to hold.

Beyond amazing! These are so comfortable that I forget I am wearing them and the sound is like being there. For me, an added surprise came with my OpenRun Pro. I have been deaf in one ear since I was 12 except for sounds detected through bone conduction which only happens during a hearing test until now! I hear sounds in my deaf ear that I haven't heard in over 50 years! Sort of miraculous!

I have two versions of the Shokz headset which I, unfortunately can't connect with my Apple Watch Ultra. Shokz uses Bluetooth 5.1 and Apple uses Bluetooth 5.3 which appears to not be backward compatible with 5.1. My previous version off the Apple Watch 6 worked flawlessly with my Shokz. My bad for upgrading the watch but one might expect next gen versions of industry standard connectivity protocols to be backward compatible or at least tell you they are not. Can't really blame Shokz but sure wish I could get an answer on whether there might be a firmware upgrade to fix this or not.....

SHokz are great I wear them every waking moment. But these pros do not turn up as loud as last year's model of aftershokz. When i walk by a hiway i can't hear my book even though the volume is at its highest. I have to plug my ears to hear. I wish it was easier to rewind parts of my book I miss when the traffic sounds overwhelms the volume. Almost impossible to press the button 3 times instead of 2 wihch fast forwards it.

I had the open run minis and decided to get the open run pro minis because bthey were supposed to have settings for voice and music. The voice setting wasn't satisfactory . The fit was different from the minis so now at the same volume level there is buzz feeling in front of my ears. With all of the Shokz they make the back of my ears sore. The positives are very long battery , much longer than my ear buds ,Convenient open ears to hear surroundings, and great for phone calls.

A fellow cyclist bragged about these. Our policy is if you're cheap, you're off the team. As a female cyclist, I would be considered bigger, but I am medium overall, with a smaller head (5'7"/140lbs). I thought the hoop around the back of my head would not work out, but they were perfect. Charged up out of the box, wore them for a 160 mi event. It was great to not have anything in my ear, out of the way, and never worried about anything falling out of my ear. The sound was excellent between music and navigation, and very easy to use with volume and on/off/pause. I have been using iPod Pros and have to rotate because of battery life. Basically, just get them, they are awesome. You can chat, have a little tune going for when the going gets tough during workouts, and hear what is going on around you, instead of disconnecting from the world. A++++++++
